Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This B&B was clean and spacious. The host was very accommodating. It's a bit of a distance from Dublin, but you can definitely do a day trip to Dublin from this B&B. I would defintely come back again!

The Lynolan House and our host Evelyn was wonderful! First, this was hands-down the busiest B&B we had stayed at in Ireland. Evelyn has a great many travelers and is wonderfully accommodating. The property itself is quiet and private although compared with other B&B's we stayed at, there was little ground space to sit outdoors. This aside, there are flowers galore in the front of the property with a cute bird feeder that added to the charm of the property. Parking spaces are nicely spaced and ample in size and they are on the property itself, not on or near the road. This B&B is in County Louth and we found County Louth to be the most 'run-down' of all of the County's we visited in Ireland. It seemed that the housing recession hit this County particularly hard, although, we did

My wife Cheryl and I traveled around Ireland a couple of years and we stayed at nine different B&Bs. All of the B&Bs were fantastic and each had their own unique offerings that made them special. However, Lynolan House in Dundalk, Ireland was our most favorite. Evelyn greeted us and served us apple turnovers and tea. Cheryl and I had driven from the West coast of Ireland that day and we were extremely tired. Evelyn was so nice and made us feel like family. Everything was so very special and nice. Her home was filled with beautiful stained glass. Our bedroom was just beyond words and the breakfast in the morning was the best I have ever eaten. Her husband took us out into the back yard and showed us the gardens and gave me an old Ireland licence plate. After we left and

Lynolan house is wonderful place to stay if you are looking for the rustic experience, without being too far away from the main attractions and city life. The lady who runs the house, Evelyn, was absolutely wonderful and went out of her way to accommodate my wife and I in any way possible. She actually gave us a ride, in her personal vehicle, to the local bus stop so we could take the bus into Dublin city, which was about a 45 minute ride. Even better, she picked up back up at the bus stop around 10:00 at night!! Room was great, food was great, people were great!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Thousands of lovely flowers greeted us from the front and back yards! The hostess pleasantly showed us to our accommodating en-suite room. We slept well and had lovely showers in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Evelyn was welcoming and attentive even though her husband was in the hospital.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place! I am an American postgrad studying at UCD in Dublin and doing research in Antrim and Down for three days. First, Evelyn and Peter are two of the nicest people I have met in Ireland, hands down. I was looking for relatively cheaper accommodation and was asking around most of the B&B's in Dundalk since I wanted to pay in euros and Lynolan House was the only one that gave me a fantastic student discount! 50 euros for two nights plus breakfast for a single ensuite that actually turned out to be a family room (a double plus a single)! You cannot beat that! Plus, Evelyn provided a mini fridge so that I could bring my own food and save on eating out. The B&B is literally two minutes off the M1 from the north so could have have

This place was gorgeous, the grounds and view was great. Evelyn our lovely Irish hostess was very helpful. She recommend the Sexton Pub where we ate for 2 nights and it was very nice. She build us a fire in the living room ( it was rainy and chilly) where we enjoyed TV and use her computer to post to our family on Facebook where we were and that we were OK. The room was immaculate and very private, we were given a 2 bedroom suite so we didn't have to climb the stairs as we are older. We stayed an extra night as we were exhausted and we loved it there so much.
