Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dog friendly 3 star hotel, it's old world, full of character. Like stepping back in time. Room itself was big really comfortable bed, warm and cosy. Tea/Coffee facilities and hairdryer provided. We stayed in the main hotel which is quaint, there is more modern rooms available if you prefer. The food and the welcome cannot be matched. Everyone so friendly, attentive and on coming back from a walk on the seafront (literally a stone's throw away), we went into the bar where dogs are allowed. There we had a delicious dinner, met local characters (dogs get people talking), had great craic and met people enjoying some time in Tramore. Our first fime to bring our dog away and while not permitted into the restaurant for breakfast, it was no problem for wonderful staff to bring our food into the bar and breakfast was fantastic, better than some that I've had in 5 star resorts. Staff are a credit to the hotel, so if you like a warm welcome, delicious food and don't mind that everything is not modern, if you enjoy character and are willing to try a 3 star hotel with a 5 star service, this hotel is for you.

We had a very good stay and were made most welcome by the staff. The restaurant food was fresh and well cooked while evening live music was a bonus. Tramore is handy for both Waterford (well worth a visit) and the amazing Copper Coast, which we feel could be better publicized. We would go again despite the poor weather...which one has to reckon with in Ireland.

A very good experience! The personal so friendly and the breakfast so good. The hotel is situated by the sea. There is silence too. Nice to walk in the beach. Tramore is a little and friendly place.

2 night stay, came back first night at 12.30, bar had about 12 people there so we asked for a drink and were told no way bar closed, we can take one to our room if we want. We got our "take away" drink and decided.. ya know what let's just sit down and drink it sure there's loads of people here with full pints. Anyway half hour later other people getting served drink in the bar at the table in front of us. Bad form for tourists who travelled from sligo for a local wedding. Tourists!! Please don't be put off this lovely place by this one bad comment, it was the only bad craic and it was the person not the place. Didn't bother with the bar the second night. Great car park and lovely house keeping and restaurant staff.

O’Sheas restaurant was disappointing…my teenage son ordered from the carvery and that was fine the lady was generous with veg etc…but my other teenage son and I ordered chicken curry which came from the kitchen and it was very disappointing…it cost 41 euro for the 3 meals and I paid another 10 euro for drinks …not a cheap option especially when the curry was disappointing.

After being here back last summer & not having the best food to be honest ! I was a bit nervous of trying again but I wasn't let down! The place has improved sooo much !!! Homemade chips, and a wide variety of choices something for everyone! This curry is "madras" now it isn't to be honest more a "house curry" not spicy at all but very tasty!!! We had kids meals baby bowls also roast beef & cajun chicken wraps ! All beautifully served by lovely staff.. enjoyed it so much we ate here twice over this may bank Holiday weekend....keep up the good work we will definitely return..
