Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed here for one night in August and I liked the stay a lot. Like several other reviews already state, the service and staff were really friendly indeed. In the evening I ate in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions of a good size! As I booked very late, I wasn't able to get a room in the main building anymore and I stayed in one of the apartments in the terraced houses instead. The room was basic with simple furniture, but very spacious and had a small, own terrace with a table and a couple of chairs. There were a small refrigerator and an electric kettle in the room too. The room was clean, but the bath room floor was a bit broken though. My apartment had a good, big double bed and a smaller single bed as well, so it would have been suitable even for 3 persons. There were a couple of different pillows to choose from and the bed linen were bright and colourful. There are two saunas and a pool in the main building of the hotel. Upon arrival you may book one hour private sauna free of charge (but the pool is shared for the both saunas). Just like the name says, the hotel is located next to the sea, and the surroundings are very calm and beautiful. There are several benches spread out here and there on the outdoor areas of the hotel where you can sit down and enjoy the view and the peaceful athmosphere.

Great place close sea. Delicious food and friendly service. Fried perch with mashed potatoes was excellent choice - preprepared by a local fisher. If you like beautiful nature and fishing thats your place worth of visiting :-)

If you feel like having a real escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life you are on a right way. The location is good. The owner of the hotel Mark is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good (the compliment is tea/coffee and blueberry/salmon cakes on arrival ). No air conditioning (we visited the hotel in February ) but I guess it can be uncomfortable in the summer.

This is a wonderful location overlooking the sea and a delightful contrast to chain hotels - it is rustic and in May sunshine and warmth, a little corner of paradise. The owner, Mark assisted by Ilya made for very interesting hospitality and excellent service. The hotel is remote and it does help to make sure the directions are readily to hand for finding it. Having got there, walking through the charming wooded areas nearby is lovely and the views over the sea to the islands are a pleasure in themselves

In the words of my children, this place is epic! We loved the location by the sea , we loved the blueberry forest, we loved the free bikes and boats, and we loved the free pool table, the games and x box. The food was also surprisingly good and inexpensive - generous portions of beautiful fresh salmon and anything else you could want. The relatively young owner Mark was very helpful and incredibly bright and intelligent and clearly his wife and him work very hard running this special small hotel which was filled with Russian weekenders. We opted to stay in a family room in the traditional long house and although it did feel a bit like backpacker accommodation was still great value for a family.

The location is fantastic, the breakfast is fantastic, the sauna is fantastic, the equipment (free bikes, boats etc) are fantastic, the evening meals are fantastic, but the best thing of all all are the owner/managers Mark and Sofia. To say they are helpful and attentive is an understatement. From the minute we arrived they made every effort to make sure we were comfortable, and have such a nice way about them that we felt right at home straight away. Would recommend to anyone as it truly was a pleasure to stay here.

Reason: The cheapest hotel with beautiful surroundings on the way to Helsinki Location: In the wood, close to the beach. Beautiful surrounding what is welcoming to walk around and enjoy nature! Very beautiful! Room: We reserved a room and in the final we had a sea view room in the main building what was amazing. We had a twin bad what was split together. The room had a balcony where was possible to sit in the chair and enjoy the view. Hotel: Good hotel and very nice owners. They understands English and Russian. In hotel it is a lot of Russian tourists. Here you can find some activities inside like table football and billiard. It is possible to go to sauna with your own company. In arriving we reserved small sauna for 2 persons for one hour. The small sauna is for 2 people, not more. Also it is possible to order big sauna for 10 persons. So probably it is possible to reserve sauna for yourself before arriving. Hotel has his own beach and it is possible to take canoe for free. Unfortunately we had a strong wind. Breakfast was very good. It include hot food like sausages, eggs, omelet, etc and cold food like chase, same meat, fresh vegetables, muesli, homemade jam etc. Tea and coffee was possible to have with homemade cake what was very delicious. Restaurant: As we were in October we were happy that it was weekend and it was possible to enjoy dinner in restaurant. It is written that during winter period the restaurant is opened just in weekends. We had a salmon salad (big portion) what was very big and contained warm salmon and a lot of salad. It was very delicious! Conclusion: Very good hotel! It will be nice to stay here during a long weekend in summer and enjoy nature. Just you need to understand if you like to hear a lot of Russian language which is common here.
