Red Hook has several restaurants a short taxi ride away (appx $5/pp though)...and yes there is a pizza place(Senor Pizza) in Red Hook that will deliver. Texas Pit B-B-Q is in Red Hook starting from $10 and a Chinese (Saki House) that is also reasonable. Red Hook is not far but is not advised to walk as the roads are narrow and very little clearance.
18 per person from airport to Secret harbor and port is 1/2 between so no more than 15 Every day we were at secret harbor there were open air taxi's bringing groups to the beach so look for a group taxi w canopy and jump on
The resort and individual owners of the condominiums are doing a great job with many updates. All new balconies and upgraded sliding doors to name a few. Beach is absolutely lovely - perfect for relaxing and having fun
Didn't stay in that room but Tom A. seems to have hit the nail on the head with most of his comments. We were on the top floor and I would only do that again too however people with ground floor rooms can walk right out from their patios if you get up early and snatch a good spot on the beach by putting towels out on the chairs. Beach is fair in size but that's all relative to other places. You should get some chairs and an umbrella set-up early. St. Thomas has a rule where no beach is private (I believe) so people from cruise ships can come on to the beach there. That only happened a little when we were there in March.
Restaurant is top notch. Beach bar is okay, service is so-so. Views are fantastic. Taxis are a must if you have to go anywhere. Overall, a very nice place, quiet, peaceful and in the case of our room very well-appointed. Regret not going to Magen's Bay.
DO NOT walk to Red Hook. Too dangerous with the sight lines and winding roads.
