A friend and I just spent 4 nights at Riad Alnadine (run by Alain and Nadine). They ordered a taxi to bring us from the airport (€15 for two of us) and when we arrived Alain met us and showed us around. He took us to the main square so that we (supposedly) knew how to get there and pointed out good places to eat, where not to!, where to get a taxi to go to the Majorelle Gardens, and lots of useful information. He also lent us a GPS to help us navigate the medina and souks! We had a twin-bedded room that was really spacious and beautifully decorated. The whole riad is stunningly beautiful. It is built around a courtyard with a small pool. The five bedrooms are on the first floor and then there is a rooftop terrace. It is in a brilliant location in the medina (old town) for reaching all the sites and restaurants. Despite being a stones throw from the medina and all its wonderful activity, it is peaceful and quiet. The excellent breakfast was delicious, with fruit and the nicest homemade yoghurt, pastries, omlettes and crepes or Berber pancakes. It kept us going until dinner! You can have breakfast downstairs in the riad or on the terrace. I would really recommend this riad. As others have said, besides it being a gorgeous house, Alain and Nadine are the most incredible hosts that I have ever met. They are kind and considerate, have lots of useful suggestions and REALLY go out of their way to make your stay extra special. They are SUPER, super hosts and their riad is fabulous.

Just arrived home from 5 nights with Alain and Nadine at the Riad Alnadine and their hospitality was perfect. Alain offered to walk us into the main town as soon as we arrived, showing us the best exchanges (Morocco is a closed economy and the exchange rate in Marrakech is better than that of the airport), common scams, what to pay for the Petite Taxis as well as showing us how to use the GPS thoughtfully provided. It was incredibly busy with motorbikes riding through very busy crowds (in fact my take home smell from Marrakech is not the spices but 2 stroke oil, as the bikes ride everywhere). The breakfasts were stunning, I don’t usually eat eggs but had an omelette every day (yes, they were that good). They always offered advice if asked, their food recommendations were excellent. They arranged Airport Transfers and a trip to the Atlas and Essaouira (through Khalid Excursions, who we would also recommend and is reviewed separately). A couple of days in Marrakech was enough for us. Thank you, Alain and Nadine. Wishing you all the best for the Future, Bon Chance.

All of the Medina in walking distance. Delicious breakfast Excellent Wifi (extender in all rooms) And a host that really takescare of you, he walked us to the square and provided us with a GPS that works so much better than Googel maps. Riads are frendly and helpful in nature but Alnadine really excells. He also provided us with the needed advice not to get scammed (disregard them on your own risk :-) )

Yes, Marrakech can be hectic. Yes, Marrakech can be touristy. But Alain and Nadine, an unbelievably good-natured, stylish, and hospitable couple, have figured out a way for folks to sleep comfortably in the heart of the city, at a reasonable price, while avoiding all that chaos. They're super attuned to the needs of their guests, popping up whenever we needed them without being the least bit obtrusive, whether to help us haggle with a taxi driver or to give us a cold glass of fresh watermelon juice on a scorching afternoon. Ingeniously, Alain and Nadine supplied us with a pedestrian GPS so we didn't get lost in our wanderings, and they made a point of showing us landmarks so that we could easily find our way. Rooftop breakfasts were absolutely wonderful, in particular Nadine's wonderful homemade yogurt with orange blossom and excellent zucchini fritters, as well as plenty of fruit. The house, a former imam's residence if we're remembering correctly, is beautifully designed and decorated. Rooms are perched above a tranquil courtyard and small plunge pool, and we couldn't hear anything from the outside world once we closed our door. AC was robust, our bed was extremely comfortable, soaps and shampoos were the best smelling we encountered on a 2 month trip around the country, and housekeeping was top-notch. Alain and Nadine are incredibly cool people who really sweat the details while making it look completely effortless. We felt so well cared for, and can tell that they take great pride in what they do.

Nadine and Alain (but particularly Nadine) made our time in Marrakech so memorable. She really went the extra mile for us and was immensely helpful. (In this city, you’ll need a bit of help.) Merci beaucoup, Nadine! The GPS device (handheld Garmin hiking unit) provided made a HUGE difference in our ability to explore the Medina for 12 hrs without really getting lost. And the big French breakfasts! Excellent! My advice: Don’t pick your Riad based on the Instagram photos. Pick the best host, and get your Instagram photos while you’re out exploring.

Alain really took care of us. They arranged for pick up the airport and Alain met us at the Taxi. This is the only way to go as it would be difficult without knowing exactly where they are in the medina. Alain serves up a fantastic breakfast and could not be more helpful. He showed us the way to the main square in the medina and booked and took us to our restaurants in the evening. This saved a ton of time and made sure we did not get lost. They have a GPS so you can find your way home. The hotel has a great rooftop breakfast / relaxing area. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Alain also gave us a bunch of tips on what to do / not to do. They are the best.

Riad Alnadine is an excellent choice to stay in Marrakesch for many reasons but, above all, for the way the owners make their guests feeling very welcomed! The riad is a piece of quietness and freshness inside the medina, super clean, charming and comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious and very complete, with a surprise every day. Alain (and Nadine) are super nice hosts, always very helpful and doing their best to give the best tips/suggestions, guiding people in the city and making every effort for people to feel at home! If ever back to Marrakesch, we’ll definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends!

Nadine & Alain are exceptional hosts. Lovely, caring and sweet, they would come and pick you up at the taxi drop off station (precious in the hectic medina), recommend you the best places to go (a must in Marrakech), come with you to show the interesting spots (currency exchange, restaurants etc...) and cook for you wonderful healthy & delicious breakfasts. They even provide a GPS to find your way back. The Ryad is in very well located (center of the medina & walking distance to every place to be), very well decorated, very clean & calm. A real piece of serenity. The terrace and inside pool are really appreciable when you'd like to relax of your day. The taxi driver, they partner with, is very realiable too and I highly recommend to take this extra (very good price from the airport, comfortable & safe). My children & I loved the experience and we would highly recommend this place.

Excellent rooms surrounding a cool courtyard. Comfortable beds and powerful shower. The breakfasts were so good that you could pass on lunch! Delightful French couple, Alain and Nadine, who are ready to help you with any query. Quality matches the price we paid. Un grand merci de la part des vieux rockers!

Nadine and Alain are excellent hosts. They helped us so much and were very friendly. I’d highly recommend anyone considering a stay here to book with them. Their Riad is not far from the square and their building is very quiet as well as comfortable. Delicious breakfast was served daily.
