I decided to visit the Iguazu Falls just month and I picked this hotel. I arrived in a taxi with 2 huge backpacks. No one at the hotel helped me, the 2 guys at the reception were staring at me and who I was struggling. The receptionist wasnt friendly and rush to charge me a extra fee. I was confused as I already paid for the hotel, later I figured out that it was a eco fee for the government but they failed to explain that at the beginning.
Breakfast was good and the hotel was clean enough overall. At dinner time I decided to visit the restaurant, I picked a table and the restaurant manager came to me and said "what"(qué, in spanish). Horrible way to greet a guest from the hotel. Those 2 incidents made my stay less precious.
My advice:
The receptionist are unprepared, rude and unprofessional. Pick another hotel with a good review on their staff. When you travel, people want to feel welcomed.
Thw hotel is nice enough but nothing amazing. Pick another hotel closer to the town.

The only accessible room of the hotel had a broken ac, a broken tv, no frigobar (although they left a menu with prices for the food that wasn’t there). It was impossible to wash your hands or teeth without ending up soaking wet from head to toes… They seem to think disabled people doesn’t deserve to enjoy a good holiday. They always forgot to bring towels. At the restaurant I’ve seen far better breakfasts at every hostel I’ve been to than in this so-called 4 stars hotel, lack of options in the menu in general. Location is not good at all if you don’t have a car.
Not bad for a hostel or 2 stars hotel but would not recommend it. At least its price seems according to its services.

If you are expecting a sparkly, brand new place, this is NOT for you. The grounds are pretty, the room was clean, we liked the area, the cab service from the lobby was good and the breakfast was ok. I gave it a 4 not a 3 as it worked well for us. We paid with points so the price was right.
It is close to the falls and we were one of the later pickups for our tour ( 7:50 vs 7 am). There were a few things within walking distance (beer place and the wildlife refuge). It is kit for everyone but was perfect for us.

Clean enough but overall disappointing stay. Food is pretty dreadful - luckily good restaurants in town but it means a 15 min taxi ride there and back. No other amenities nearby so you are pretty much stuck at the hotel if no car. Pool ok but were a lot of kids, yet travelling in school break. I think they let local kids use it. Makes it loud and busy.

Wouldn’t recommend. Hotel is tired and not like the photos. Expensive for what it is. Rooms are quite basic with very thin walls.

I found the front desk staff unhelpful and abrupt and saw them deliberately not answering phone at times. Restaurant is pretty average, but staff in restaurant are really nice and helpful (unlike reception).

Overall would not recommend.

Average 3* hotel in the middle of nowhere. Not enough sunbeds near the pool. Scarce
breakfast and poor dinner (actually, you have no choice at all). Staff is friendly, but the building needs renovation

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They don’t wash the linens between guests! It is run down and absolutely disgusting! The breakfast is horrible. The restaurant is good but they gave me a bottle of water that smelled like marijuana and tasted bad even tho it was sealed! Way too expensive for the complete disaster that it is!

Booked for 3 nights to see the Falls mainly. Hotel is ok but dated . Needs a revamp but for the price was excellent. Restaurant basic nothing special just ok. Buffet breakfast ok with usual pastries fruit cereals. Pool area not very clean needs updating in general but if it’s a short stay then this is ideal. Hotel taxi service excellent ask for Martin He is great.

Upon arrival, discovered multiple deficiencies. Mold all over room wall and same in the next room. No internet service even though it was part of the deal and essential for us due to business issues. But worst of all was the completely indifferent staff. We finally decided at about 7 pm that this was just unacceptable. The desk clerk refused to cancel our reservation and told us it had to be cancelled on the Argentine web site (something akin to Hotels dot com). But there was no internet! Then finally we got connected for 3 minutes and the web site said if you want to cancel you have to do it by phone. But by phone there was no option to speak to a person and no option to cancel. So we told the desk clerk about that, and said we were leaving. He said he would get us a taxi. There is NOTHING within walking distance of this hotel except, literally, jungle. Then when we took our bags out to the taxi, the driver said he would not take us to another hotel until we paid the hotel bill. The desk clerk said either pay the full bill (3 nights' worth) or the taxi driver won't take you anywhere AND I will call the police. I used my VISA card (and they refunded me in full) in order to escape this house of horrors, and we had a lovely stay elsewhere. My best advice: Don't. Go. There.

I was put up in this hotel for 1 night by Aerolineas as there was an airtraffic controller strike. I had spent most of my stay in Iguassu on the Brazilian side in a small hostel called Pousada El Shaddai.

The Tourbillon is a flash looking hotel and was built a couple of years ago as a 3 to 4 star hotel. I think the architect was on something though when it was designed.

The room I had was large and comfortable and the bathroom looked really flash but that´s where it ends. The airconditioner is carefully positioned to blow cold air over the beds so you either have the choice of a hot room or be frozen in bed. Really classy design that! When you go out you have to take the key and that turns the airconditioner off so the room is always hot when you use it.

The bathroom is open plan so when you have a shower it turns into a swamp and doesn´t drain properly and that means no matter where you stand after a shower you are in a flood. The tiles are slippery too so you had better walk really carefully! To top it off there isn´t a lightswitch and the lights are controlled by a motion sensor. While that sound great it has a problem than it doesn´t setect you in the shower so after a minute of so you are plunged into darkness. I suggest leaving the door open so you get some light into the bathroom. Ditto happens if you use the toilet which is like a throne and far too high off the ground.

They also charge for wifi when every other cheap hotel I stayed at in Argentina, Brazil and Chile gives wifi for free.

The location is awful. You are a long way out of town so are pretty well forced to eat in their restaurant.

About the only good thing about this expensive piece of mediocrity is the breakfast which is good with nice fresh pressed juices plus the usual ham, cheese, bread, croissants etc.

Give a choice I would any day stay in the hostel where I was. You could leave the airconditioner on all day, the room was huge and breakfast was fine and the location was far far better.
