Lovely b&b just a short walk to the town. We were greeted by Wendy who was lovely and very accommodating during our stay. Our room was spotless and we had a very comfy nights sleep. The house was decorated lovely for Christmas with a homely feel. The breakfast hit the spot nicely and there was a good selection of bread, cereal etc. Would definitely recommend

We stayed here as a very last minute decision. I don't get the negative comments towards the owner Wendy who myself and my partner found to be very lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice from Ceral to Toast, this was on top of a very very nice fry. The room was spotless and the bed was very big and comfy. I'd definitely recommend here and would definitely come back if I'm down that way again.

I would not recommend this to anybody , its a waste of money , and would advise you to look somewhere else , terrible breakfast , absolutely terrible, and lack of it , it's not a irish breakfast , rather a cheap , nothing on the plate version, and when you question wendy the owner, who is so ruid anyway , she is like what's the problem . My breakfast whas a joke . I explained to here, she said u would have to pay another 12 euro , aft paying to stay there anyway, thought she whas joking, but no joking with Wendy, rather rudeness. I questioned the payment later , and could belive the way she spoke . Like saying to a customer, we'll if ur not happy there's other places to stay .I definitely will not be back , no value for money , and a ruid person as a host , alot of reviews have mentioned the poor breakfast, and the ruid host . Yes other better places to stay , with a warmer welcome , and stay. I would advise that

We stayed in the grove house bed and breakfast the room was clean and tidy and the view was nice .i found the breakfast very disappointing as there was no yogurts no fruit no bread rolls very limited breakfast. The full irish was quite small not what would be considered a full irish. Most b&be usually ask if you would like anymore to eat ,not here the feeling was you got as little as possible.when asked for a bit extra wendy cthe owner changed full price .i found wendy to be quite snippy no customer service if she had have slowed down a bit she might have heard that we did not ask for another full breakfast just an extra sausage and egg. She argued the price and did not seem to realize that we did not mind paying the extra it was the principle. But obviously customer service is not priorty with her as we experienced. Shes definately in the wrong job in hospitality.

Had a 2 night stop there and the proprietor's were absolutely lovely and according to my OH the breakfast was lovely. The place was spotless and quite possibly too clean for the likes of me, the wifi is great and views are brilliant. But there is no bar as far as I could see, then again Juniors is a 5 minute walk from the grove which is a pub/restaurant/event place, would highly recommend for food and a good craic. 5 stars from me, I left the place feeling happy.

We stayed for 3 nights visiting family and doing the sites in and around Carlingford/Dundalk, we lucked out here the b&b is in a perfect location just outside ( the surprisingly very busy Carlingford centre on a Friday and Saturday , stag and hen central on the weekend but a good craic none the less) Grove B&B is about is 5-10 min walk from the village , spotlessly clean, AMAZING hospitality, a fabulous room , super comfy bed , quiet , ( best night sleep I’ve had in months ) the cooked breakfast is superb and any variation you wish , I’m a lactose intolerant and was asked on arrival and soya milk sourced and ready on our table every morning,Stunning location, great views of the Cooley mountains, amazing hospitality, great place to stay , highly recommend.

We booked into Grove House for two night stay We were greeted by the owner Wendy. We found her to be very friendly. We found room no 4 very spacious and comfortable. Wendy recommend a nice restaurant called Fishy Dishy in the village and it was was excellent. We had breakfast the following morning and it was delicious and plenty of fruit as well. The are plenty of car parking available Hopefully if we are in Carlingford again we will be only too happy to stay in Grove House.

This is the third year we have stayed prior to the Carlingford Half Marathon. Again we had another wonderful stay. Wendy is a wonderful host who cares greatly in making sure her guests have a fantastic stay. The room is very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is a wonderful selection of a continental buffet and with Wendy cooking to order hot food. A huge thank you for such a brilliant stay and look forward to a future return visit

Where do I begin… this is hands down the best accommodation you could wish for in Carlingford. Exquisite location, attention to detail was spectacular and so welcoming and homely. We booked the superior room which offered a gigantic cosy bed which provided us with 2 nights of excellent sleep, views of the mountain sides and modern amenities. The room was spotless and warm on top of this. Also the ‘Irish breakfast’ was delicious. Now as for the host Wendy, she is so sweet and will go above and beyond to make sure you are well looked after on your visit and has a genuine sense of care for the guests. When we return to Carlingford again which won’t be too far into the future we will be staying here again 110%! I know this review seems far fetched but believe me, this property does not have enough credit on here!! Thanks for everything Wendy.
