Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Both the rooms and the lobby were newly renovated. Rooms are small but beautifully decorated. Views, however, were not great and the pool area, which I imagine is the crowning jewel, is currently under construction, although I believe the hotel has arranged the use of the neighboring Waldorf pool (which we did not use). Small touches would have been appreciated - no waters or coffee, tea. Only two towels for a four person room, and a few things didn’t work (e.g., the USB outlets on the nightstand. Beds were great and sheets felt luxurious. Great location. Room service was disappointing - limited options, overpriced, and mediocre food. I believe the hotel was discounted due to construction but it was still expensive. Nevertheless, I was hoping for slightly more.

From the moment we arrived we felt special. The staff everywhere was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was absolutely beautiful. We had lunch one day at the pool and felt like we were in a tropical resort. Honestly this was one of the best hotel experiences ever. Worth every single penny!

I used to stay here a lot before the pandemic; just had my first stay in several years (and the first since their big renovation). This remains a terrific hotel. The rooms and common areas are in good shape, everything is very clean, the rooms are well soundproofed and the location is ideal.

What a lovely room with beautiful views of the hills. Chic yet quirky furnishings. Great bathrooms. Room was immaculate. What prevents a 5 star review was a not terribly welcoming check in experience. I arrived before noon. There were plenty of rooms available but I was told it would be $150 for early check in. I am Hilton Gold. I find that distasteful. You clearly have a room and it’s empty. But you want to try to fleece me for an extra $150? It’s not like you’re giving me any money back for checking out at 5am and giving your room back hours early. That kind or petty nonsense really puts a damper on a stay. If you have a room available what is the harm in letting someone who just to off a 6 hour flight use it without trying to shake them down. As a result I would prob not stay again.

I am a Los Angeles native, still living here decades later, and went to the Beverly Hilton on a staycation. Being born and raised in LA, we know the tourist traps versus great local spots. THAT IS WHY AS A LOCAL I CHOSE THE BEVERLY HILTON. Whether for an event, hosting visiting family (do you really want to host uncle difficult at your house for a term?), or just a casual day off life, the Beverly Hilton should be a consistent goto. From when I was a child til today, no fail spot for consistent top notch services. The property is extremely well located, well maintained and obviously iconic, as such I won't dwell on the obvious. Beyond that the staff is exceptional even amongst the exceptional nearby venues. Whether working with Cobi, Phoebe or Albert, be assured they will take care of you in a way that stands out. Kudos to management (Julian greeted me personally wow!) for getting people in LA to show up on time, let alone go above and beyond job descriptions. This level of experience really hard to do consistently, especially with clients as or more difficult than me :) Corporate, if you're reading this, please ignore the next part.... It's actually very inexpensive for what it is. Beyond just location, room caliber, service and all that, the food is very good. I was going to get snipey about a $30 sandwich, til I ate it. As a local, food was good enough that I would go back, things were priced fairly for quality. I know that sounds awkward about a $30 club sandwich, but seriously, try it, best I've had. Overall, cheap relative to the incredibly high caliber of all stay aspects and an amazing value. Summary is that while not the least expensive in the city, you get more than what you pay for in all respects, with consistency in service and delivery over decades.

Elira was terrific. She immediately corrected an issue we had. Checked up on us mid trip to see how we were doing. Went over and above making the trip more special. The front desk staff was also very helpful and pleasant!!

What a cool place to stay in Beverley Hills. A treasure of a hotel, lots of history......while maintaining it's 50's style and charm. The 4 night package we booked included the rooms in the older section of the hotel. Although somewhat removed from the core of the hotel it was satisfactory for the price paid. The pool area is exceptional.

We traveled to Los Angeles to see our Buffalo Bills play the Chargers in SoFi Stadium. We chose to stay at the Beverly Hilton because of its location and reputation, and we are so pleased we did! The room was spotless, their attention to detail was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were exceptional at meeting our needs and we would highly recommend a stay to friends at this hotel. Two employees at the front desk - Marie and Susmita - went out of their way to give us suggestions for dining, shopping etc.... They even took the time to write it all down for us. The Beverly Hilton and their staff went above and beyond our expectations and we would highly recommend staying there. Wait. Did I mention the view from our room? Breathtaking!

Superb hotel. The front desk staff are professional and accommodating. Restaurant food is wonderful with an excellent waitstaff. The accommodations and views are breathtaking. You need not bother booking the Waldorf, Wilshire, Peninsula, or Beverly Hills hotel as this is the place to stay.
