Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good location near restaurants and the Park, and just decent mid-range-type hotel. Basic rooms (beds a little squeaky), but offered a pool and fire pit. Basic buffet breakfast. It's like a decent Best Western.

We stayed here one night while visiting Glacier NP. The lobby was nice and cozy feeling. Check in was smooth. Our room was a junior suite with a couch and table with chairs. It was a spacious room. The bed was comfortable. The only issue with all four hotels we stayed in on this trip is that pillows are all FLAT! I mean pancake flat. I stacked three on top of each other and still not a full pillow size. We would definitely stay here again, I would just bring my own pillow.

This Xanterra hotel is compareable to Marriott Inns, Hyatt Houses or Holiday Express. The furnishings are slightly nicer looking. Service is not as good. Your call to Park Services will immediately go to Xanterra because it has monopoly contract with Park Services. This hotel outside the park belongs to Xanterra. Other large chains also have their lower cost facilities near by.

Whoever designed this hotel and rooms did an amazing job! We travel a lot, I’m obsessed with cleanliness, so here is what stood out to me. First, you pull up and there are two huge garbage cans outside not overflowing with trash. This may seem like a silly thing but when you road-trip, you accumulate trash and I’ve been to so many hotels where you either can’t find one near the entrance or it’s overflowing. Several carts available to unload all of your stuff. Hot chocolate, cider, tea, coffee and ice water available all day in the welcoming lobby. Cute little gift shop with food, drink, and trinkets. I bought some lovely photo cards of the beautiful framed wildlife photos displayed in the rooms. The hotel lobby, hallways, and grounds were very clean. In the room - a nice sized trash can that is lined (again about trash but I hate garbage cans not lined). The bathroom was well stocked with cosmetic towels in addition to a generous amount of other towels. Liquid hand soap and lotion by the sink, and magnifying makeup mirror. Nice shower and tub with a curtain that doesn’t attack you! I loved the fleece throws on the beds too. My only complaint was the pillows! They had many but they were like balloons when you laid on them. It was something I’ve never experienced but we were so tired from hiking, it didn’t matter. Great location to Glacier and to the yummy restaurants in Columbia Falls. We will be back!

Not a lodge at all, just an overpriced hotel. However, the staff is very nice and accommodating The hotel does not have a restaurant. Breakfast is included. It's ok. There are some restaurants nearby. About a 20 minute drive too park entrance.

This hotel was as advertised, outside West side of Glacier National park. On a busy road, Probably the best accommodations close to the west park entrance. We preferred staying at East Park entrance, St. Mary’s. The hotel was clean, very nice staff. Free buffet breakfast but no other dining on premises. Several dining options that you can walk to.

We loved everything in this place. First the location:very practical at 15’ from Glacier National park or Whitefish. The rooms are big and clean equipped with microwave and fridge…easy to have TV dinner at the end of the day with the family. The staff is extremely warm and helpful, special thanks to the ladies at the reception and breakfast. Talking about the breakfast: excellent for a free complementary breakfast we all loved to make our own delicious waffles!!

Room large, but were promised a view… we had a view of fake trees on the roof. No fan in bathroom, no top sheet on bed, outrageous price and breakfast was marginal at best. Wpuld not recommend or stay again!

Experience was great. Staff could not have been nicer and accommodating. Room, beds, towels, bathroom were all nice, clean and representative of the price. Breakfast was the exact same every day. Some variety might have been nice since most people are staying here multiple days. Location was a little further than I thought from Glacier but likely that was my misunderstanding, there was nothing closer outside the park where I would have stayed. Overall great experience and would stay here again.
