Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great quiet camping with a fantastic view from the pool. Everything you need is there (electricity, communal refrigerator, laundry, possibility to order bread/croissant, and small bar). The camping forms a perfect base to go on day trips around Tuscany and is located near many small wineries.

Perfect base to go on day trips around Tuscany. Beautiful views from the campsite. Unlike other reviewers, I do think the pitches are quite spacious, their sizes vary and also not every pitch has the same price. Cons: no toilet paper, WiFi doesn't work at times

Very nice small camping with fantastic views, specially from the swimming pool. What could improved is the hot water pressure in the morning and why don't offering some soap and toilet rolls....But overall: very nice!

On paper the place is presented as a spacious site and an ideal base for walking and exploring the neighbourhood. It turns out to be rather constricted, with small pitches allowing little scope for privacy. There's really no walking to be had because there are no proper trails, and even a traipse to the nearby village is along the tarmac road with no pavement to protect one from the speeding cars. It may be okay as a base to drive to cities and towns in Toscana, but most are not that close. Other than that the services are clean and the management is pleasant.

The campsite is dark at night and the guy ropes coming from tents to the step area are virtually invisible. I tripped over one of the guy ropes which was close to the steps landed on my shoulder and cheekbone and broke my humerous. The lady in reception said to my husband you will have to take her to hospital, he did and the following day I had a 6 hour operation to put pins and screws in my arm, I returned to the campsite the following day and the owner nor any of the staff inquired about my health. My husband asked if we could borrow one of the sunbeds so I could try and have a more comfortable night, they said yes. There was no follow up, no enquiry as to if I needed some extra pillows or anything else to ease my stay or to ask how I was. On the last day I saw one of the staff at the toilet block, she asked if it was painful, I said yes but the worse thing was being unable to take a shower in the 40 degree heat, she said well you could take half a shower. We did note after this a cident which was not recorded anywhere that there were other tents with guy ropes in dangerous areas around walkways and steps but no health and safety checks were completed. The main concern seemed to be how much money could be made. It was our first stay at this site and we will not be returning

My kids loved this experience! As it was the first time they spent time in a camping... Nice view, quiet place and a swimming pool... The sanitary facilities are always cleaned! A little expensive though...

Bert Nice campingground with excellent facilities including the sanitary ones. Great view over Tuscany which is always breathtaking. The only factor to reckon with is the location which is not easily to negotiate with a caravan. Very steep hill to exit so you need a powerful engine in yorrycar.

I thought I'd already written a review for this sorry! Absolutely fantastic place. We went in September so fairly quiet and often had the amazing pool to ourselves! The staff are lovely, so helpful! We stayed in canvas chalet quite near reception and loos so that was great. It's not a huge site so nice walk to pool. Shop sells chilled beers etc and the evening food also nice. It's also only a beautiful 15 min walk to Marcialla where the sunsets are amazing across the hills. No pavements so wouldn't recommend if you have a pushchair as the cars come round quite quickly but fine for adults. Would love to come back.

When we arrived, the friendly receptionist told us that it had been raining for several days and the pitches were very wet and muddy. Anyway we found a suitable pitch with a nice view. The campsite is well placed for visiting the famous cities Florence, Siena, San Gimignano etc. Someone may perhaps not like the electricity pylon inside the camping. The sanitary facilities were clean. The warm water was warm "at the lower side": for taking a shower it was refreshing; for cleaning up the dishes not very helpful, but this is often the case on campsites. Very nice and useful: You can order fresh bread the evening before. The next village "Marcialla" is maybe a good half an hour away (by foot) but the little shop "La Botteguccia di Valentina Paoletti" is worth visiting!
