Initially we booked an apartment nearby, but it was super cold as the heating was not functioning properly, luckily there was room available in Nava Real. The room is not very big but comfortable for 2 persons, heating was superb, even in the bathroom. Breakfast was good enough with tea, coffee, toast, croissant, and fresh fruits.

A very pleasant looking hotel in the centre of the town. One parking space outside the hotel and limited street parking around, luckily we parked outside. The welcome was Spanish spoken only, but our name was registered, key given in a grumpy fashion by the chap on duty and we had to make the effort not him to make ourselves understood regarding breakfast for the following day. Good room, balcony, no additions like tea or coffee facilities or fridge. TV we didn’t try and decent wifi. Immaculately clean room and of a good standard of décor as was the whole hotel. Breakfast was limited but sufficient. Juice, tea or coffee, hot croissant, toast, butter, jam selection and plates of fresh fruit. A little cheese and Iberian hams would have made it more complete. A number of nice restaurants within 150 metres which was just as well as it seems the hotel restaurant was closed that night. Or it might have just been closed when we asked at 19.30 and the thought to tell us they open later was unhelpfully not offered. Most in the village seemed to open at 20.00.…

We decided to escape the heat of the city and do a bit of hiking when we booked this hotel. It is located in the town of Navacerrada which makes it very accessible to public transport (interurbano bus) and to some nice hiking trails of different levels of difficulty. The room is exactly what you want from a quaint hotel- relaxing, comfortable beds and a balcony. A good size bathtub to stretch out in after a day's hike was a bonus. I have give a special mention to the housekeeping of this establishment as it is by far the best maintained / cleaned room I have seen in a very long time. The room was immaculate- pristine white tiles, sheets, towels and floors. Even the common areas were so squeaky clean. Well done guys! The check-in and out was simple and people were very nice. Only thing that someone might have a problem with is outside noise at night if you have your windows open which you will as there is no ac. You can hear cars going by or people talking if they are walking by. Really there is nothing that can be done about street noise but maybe if you are a light sleeper request a quiet room. Overall very happy with this hotel and look forward to going back. …

Navacerrada is a lovely little town and a good base for hikes into the surrounding countryside. The hotel is in a great location and has a lovely rustic feel to it. The room, which had a balcony and ensuite, were of a reasonable size and in general the hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast was nothing special though (orange juice, coffee or tea, toast or croissant) and the staff could have been a little more affable and attentive; though by Madrid standards, they weren't too bad. All in all, I was pretty satisfied and found the hotel good value for money.

Our stay at The Nava Real was totally unplanned. This is the third year we have stayed in Navacerrada for a ski trip and we have always booked our stay at The Husa Arcipresta. Twenty minutes before arriving in the village, we were hit by a quick snowstorm and there was no way we were going to make it to The Husa, which is located 5 minutes up the roadway from the town. We had remembered seeing the charming and quaint looking Nava Real while strolling around town the year before so we headed there to see if there was a vacancy. Right away we were shown two rooms to see which one would be more accomodating for our family of four and a roll-away was brought up for our 6 year old. Since it was late, the restaurant was closing for the night but the night manager and waitress on duty were more than happy to keep the bar open for us for drinks and a quick, light snack. The room was cozy and quiet, and the bathroom was spacious and modern. The building itself is beautiful from the outside and the inside is very well maintained and charming. While it is centered right in town and has no facilities like a pool or children's play area, it provided us with a safe and very comfortable night's rest out of the snowstorm. We can't thank the Nava Real enough for making us feel so welcome that night.…
