My husband and I stayed for 9 nights and were pleasantly surprised. We'd read quite a number of negative comments and were concerned we had made a mistake booking here. Our stay exceeded our expectations. Spacious, extremely, well serviced accommodation. Nice well kept pool area, plentiful comfy sunbeds. We were staying AI. Range of drinks was good and lunch at the pool bar was excellent (best meal of the day), served quickly, hot and tasty. Agree with negative comments about the breakfasts and evening meals, pretty disappointing however we didn't really have high expectations. It was a little too chilly to sit out by the pool bar in the evening and sadly the inside bar is soulless and too bright. Entertainment in the bar and by the pool during the day and in the evening was all extremely good and enjoyable. Some wonderful talent. The very best aspect of the hotel is the staff. Each and everyone works extremely hard to make your stay enjoyable. The reception staff were always smiling & helpful and the pool bar staff were extremely efficient. The service was not quite as good when the professional and personable Carlos went on his holidays but it was still good. Alba and Albany were a delight and worked extremely hard everyday. A young man from Morocco who worked in the main restaurant was extremely pleasant too. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay, any negatives were minimal and totally outweighed by the positives.

What a wonderful hotel! We have just arrived back from a two week stay at the amazing White Suites. It is the first time staying in this hotel and we cannot wait to return. Staff in this hotel are all really friendly, welcoming and hard working. It is the staff in this hotel that really make the experience special. We would like to say a special thank you to all of the staff throughout this fantastic hotel for making our stay so enjoyable. The reception team and guest relations are also very helpful for anyone with questions during their stay and they work very hard to ensure all guests have a brilliant holiday. The hotel facilities are always spotless! This is a really clean hotel which I would describe as spotless. We really appreciated the level of hygiene in the grounds, hotel and rooms. Rooms are cleaned daily which is fantastic. The dining room is absolutely brilliant. As a family we have a few different dietary needs and this hotel has an excellent and broad ranging selection of quality food throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner. I particularly appreciated the selection of fish and vegetarian food available throughout the different meals and staff ensured correct food hygiene handling to ensure eggs were cooked separately from bacon at breakfast which we LOVE! A special thank you to Mojados (Breakfast chef) for her cheerful smiling and singing service with the best eggs! The food is of excellent quality, hot and always replenished. This is the best all-inclusive dining experience due to the dining room being clean, calm and well presented. The entertainment in this adult only hotel is amazing! There is entertainment around the pool during the afternoon and the evening. We really enjoyed the music entertainment specifically; White Night (Rock music & DJ Nandy), DJ Nandy pool side party, Soulhunters night and Aaron (daytime soul singer). We really appreciated how hard the bar staff worked during the day and the evening with fresh drinks being made all the time. Drinks are of an excellent quality (branded drinks) with a selection of choices which is also one of the reasons we will be returning! The sun loungers are the most comfortable we have ever experienced! The pools are lovely and cool which is nice and refreshing for a swim when it is lovely and hot in Lanzarote. We loved the location of the hotel being really near the centre of Playa Blanca as this is one of our favourite resorts. Plenty of things to go and explore with many lovely local restaurants, cafes and bars. Thank you for such a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay! We will see you all soon The Morris Family!

This was our first time staying in a H10 hotel and based on friends recommendation (who have stayed many times at other H10 hotels) we were looking forward to our holiday. Firstly, White Suites market the hotel as a boutique hotel - in our view, it was much larger than what we would consider as boutique. Positives for the hotel - the suites were large, clean and comfortable. There was a coffee machine and pods were provided. Our balcony was large and very private. We overlooked the road, but didn’t experience any traffic noise. The day of arrival there were two bottles of water provided. On my husband’s birthday, a bottle of cava and chocolates were left in our suite - nice touch and very much appreciated. The pool area was very well maintained, the sun beds were comfortable, however the dark plastic mattresses got very hot and we were only allowed one relatively small pool towel per person and we had to buy a couple of cheap beach towels. The snack bar was good and not overpriced. The reception, bar and waiting staff were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, despite the positives White Suites was let down by the restaurants. The al la carte Italian restaurant was a big disappointment. We were only able to eat there once during our 10 day stay but after eating there once we wouldn’t have returned even if we could. The menu was very limited, only a few starters/desserts and the main course was pasta or pizza. My pasta dish looked liked it had been dumped on the plate and heated in the microwave. Looked very brown with no vegetables to brighten up the dish. The main buffet restaurant was also very disappointing. We like to go to breakfast early but the restaurant didn’t open until 8 am. If we turned up at 8 am the restaurant doors were closed and we had to join the queue. The lady who cooked the fried eggs/omelettes etc, invariably walked in at the same time as the guests and took the next 10/15 minutes preparing to cook. We very rarely had eggs for this reason. On one occasion I thought I would wait and then ask for an omelette, and was told that she wasn’t cooking omelettes that day. The other “hot” items were not very hot. The restaurant and buffet areas are much too small for the size of the hotel. In the evening, if we went in at 7.30 there were a number of empty platters and they were very slow at replenishing or platters remained empty for the remainder of the dinner service time. The chicken and other items were left cooking on the griddle. One evening I had a piece of chicken which I couldn’t get a knife through let alone chew the meat. Sushi wasn’t kept on ice and it was very warm in the restaurant - we wouldn’t chance eating it. The bar area is also too small (as is the outside bar area) for the number of guests in the hotel. A sign in the bar area states seating for only 50 people and we felt the bar area was soulless. Finally, I asked for a kettle for our room (a request made by other guests also), and was told there were none available. Well I really think that the hotel should purchase a number of kettles, so they can meet the needs of their guests - which you would expect from a “boutique” hotel.

Our experience of this hotel can be split into two parts. Part 1 - The Positives: We stayed in a really nice 2 room suite with comfortable beds and furniture and a spacious balcony overlooking the pool. The maid service was good with towels changed almost every day, coffee pods replenished as needed and the room kept clean. Quiet at night with no real noise from the road at the rear . The pool area and gardens are well maintained and always clean. We had no problem getting sun beds every day (Note: consider taking spare towels as the dark material covering the cushions gets very hot and you are only allowed one pool towel each!). Drinks and lunch are available at the pool bar with free pastries in the morning (special mention for Carlos in the pool bar for his interpersonal skills and service). The price of drinks in both the bars and restaurants is very reasonable when compared to UK Part 2 - The Negatives: The hotel is badly let down by the standard and organisation of the catering. The Bamboo Buffet restaurant is really too small for the number of guests in the hotel, especially at busy times. This is made worse by the late opening for breakfast (8 am) and the fact that the restaurant stops serving dinner at 9pm (when the staff have already started laying up for breakfast the next morning!). Long queues develop most mornings and evenings, often due to the very slow re-laying of empty tables. The show cooking is painfully slow at breakfast with long queues for omelettes, fried eggs and bacon. The food on the buffet is often not very hot and slow to be replenished. In the evening we found that the food freshly cooked on the grill was either virtually raw or pyrolised! Also, beware of the Asian theme night when we had bad reactions later in the night, probably as a result of consuming the sushi which is not laid out on ice on the buffet. The new A La Carte Italian restaurant was a big disappointment with only pizza or pasta available as a main course - no meat of fish dishes on the menu. You can only book this restaurant once per 7 day stay and it was closed for 2 days whilst we were there, so access is quite restricted. Overall, one gets the impression that the hotel is trying to cut costs by operating on minimum staff levels and reduced food quality in the restaurants. Final comment: - despite what the hotel policy states on its website, there is no enforcement of the dress codes for dining in the evening and people turn up in shorts, T-shirts, baseball caps etc etc. Why do the staff not have the power to enforce this? In Summary: Nice rooms and pool areas but very disappointing catering. Unlikely to return!

Rooms are great, staff are amazing, breakfast is good….lunch time & dinner time in buffet restaurant are awful!!! Bar snacks are fine but I haven’t come to Lanzarote for chips!!! We like to experience culture flavours and dishes. Aldo the pool could do with a bit more maintenance, holes need refilling and nothing on 1 edge of the pool so could quite easily cut your legs. So do do disappointed in this hotel 😞 was really looking forward to it but now can’t wait to get home 🙁 However, drinks on all inclusive are great, amazing cocktails and premium spirits x

This is our 4th stay and each time it lives up to expectations. Warmly welcomed at reception with a glass of cava, and quickly taken to our room. Booked dream suite package direct with hotel which includes return transfer, daily mini fridge refill, couples spa treatment, Palapa day. It was also my birthday when we were there….i returned to my room in the afternoon to a bottle of cordiniu cava and box of chocolates which was lovely. We stay bed and breakfast as we like eating out and it is very reasonable to do this in Playa Blanca, however the breakfast is amazing. Lots of choice. The cost of drinks and food though in the hotel is very good. We had lunch around the pool one day with a couple of drinks it was about €23. Spa treatments are amazing (Silvana!). Great central location, 2 min walk to the promenade and beach, 10 min walk to marina or town. Taxis are not needed. Room is very spacious. As you enter the room you are in the bedroom area, hallway with bathroom and into separate lounge. What we love about this hotel is it attracts a more mature clientele. We have never been kept awake with inconsiderate neighbours, with a good nights sleep guaranteed. We have read some reviews about the music around the pool during the day. This is something fairly new as it has always been very quiet in the pool area. I personally enjoy the music, it’s tasteful and caters for all genres. Our day in the Palapa was lovely with moet and fruits but we have commented how it is always empty…we were the only ones to use it during the 9 night stay. It could be used for something else maybe a cocktail bar or swim up bar to get more use of the area. This is officially our favourite hotel in the island and are already planning our next trip over!

Recently returned from an 8 night holiday at the H10 White Suites and really loved it. I have to say that the welcome we received from the reception staff when we arrived to check-in was the friendliest ever! Check-in was done really quickly and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. We stayed in room 116 which was a great ground floor room. We were impressed with the size of the room and outside terrace and the storage in the room was superb. I needed more coat hangers (I always pack too much) and a quick call to reception and about 5 minutes later, lots more hangers arrived! Shower was lovely and we always had hot water. The complementary safe and pool towels were nice touches (so many places need a deposit)! and the toiletries were all good. The maid service was very good and done early every morning. The hotel grounds are very pretty and well maintained and the pool area is lovely with the most comfortable sun beds. We never had an issue getting a sunbed. All the staff we came across were very friendly and welcoming and also very hard-working. We were on an all-inclusive basis and the food at both the main restaurant and snack bar (which we tended to use at lunchtimes) were very good. The selection in the restaurant buffet was varied and always a good choice to choose from. We were particularly impressed with the drinks and it was so lovely to be able to order a bottle of wine on all inclusive too. Being an adults only hotel suited us well and the location of this hotel is great. There is also a very convenient small supermarket directly opposite. We hired a car whilst here and easily parked for free on the streets nearby every day without issue. We have stayed in this area before and would definitely return to this hotel in the future. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Reception staff were very friendly, welcoming, efficient & professional. We were shown to our room by the luggage porter , who was also friendly, very informative (giving us a guided tour as we found our room) & professional. The rooms/suites are bright, cheerful, clean & comfortable & all the rooms were a good size. The balcony was also a good size & just having one sun bed wasn’t a problem to us. We requested a quiet room & it was perfect, being located in the far corner quietly tucked away but slightly overlooking the pool & getting the sun for most of the day, which was lovely. The entertainment was excellent with some very talented singers………. I’m not sure that having a drumming workshop(for one of the sessions) outside the dining room & next to a relaxing pool at lunch time is the best idea but each to their own. We just avoided being anywhere near that area at that time. There were plenty of sun beds & although there are still guests that insist on “reserving” them this didn’t cause us any problems. The pools were very cool & seemed small so we didn’t use them. To be fair to the Hotel, when guests complained about the pools coolness the temperature was turned up. It did seem that issues were dealt with as soon as was possible. The gym is very limited , small & seems tired & in need of modernisation with some equipment creaking with a lack of maintenance. Being a boutique hotel, it does feel small & at times there do seem to be more guests than areas of the hotel can cope with I.e in the dining room. However, we chose to visit the dining area for breakfast & dinner (lunch times were not busy & lovely) just after opening & at its least busy time. The food was plentiful with a very good selection. We didn’t try the separate Italian restaurant (the menu or reviews didn’t inspire us to try it!) & it never looked very busy, maybe for the same reasons. The location of the hotel was also perfect for us. A short stroll to the beach & an excellent coastal walk in either direction. The supermarket opposite the hotel was also very handy selling everything that we needed.

I waited a few weeks before writing this review as I wanted to reflect on the whole experience at the H10 white suites. On arrival, the check-in process was very friendly, straightforward, and quick. We were offered a soft drink, water, or Prosecco. The room wasn’t ready. But as it was early afternoon we chose to go and get something to eat in the buffet restaurant. There was plenty of food available. And I’ll talk more about the restaurant later in the review. Once our room was available, we returned to reception to be taken to our room. The room was on the ground floor. On entering the large bedroom area which went through to a seated area with television with BBC1, ITV, etc it was a surprise. The bathroom was a good size with a shower, sink, and toilet. Our first impression of the room? It was a good size. We had paid for a pool view room with a terrace overlooking the pool area. This was pleasant enough. Unfortunately, we had some difficulties with the safe, and reception was contacted. It was sorted out very quickly. We did notice very small fruit flies in the room (A few dozen). Which we weren’t happy about. But they are harmless. In other reviews, some people are calling them ants, which they not there fruit flies that are attracted by the pink flowers on the shrubs outside. Inevitably they get into your room. We raised this the next day with reception and they sent someone to treat the room with what I can only imagine was fly spray or equivalent the next day we noticed a reduction in the number of fruit flies but they were still there. At this point, we asked for a room change which was not forthcoming. In summary, as the fruit flies are harmless, they’re just a bit of a pain we decided to buy fly spray from the supermarket opposite and treat the room ourselves, which made a significant difference reducing the number to less than 10. In fairness to the hotel, they wrote a full apology to us and gave us a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates due to them not addressing it as timely as I would have liked and not making the offer of an alternative room available to us. Although this might put some people off it didn’t spoil our holiday. Eating in the hotel. We never had any problems at all we never ate in an Italian restaurant We always ate in a buffet restaurant. But we always enjoyed our food. There was an abundance of meat or fish available. Usually on the made-to-order grill. And you soon learned that you’d ask the chef to cook what you had chosen. Walk around and put anything else on your plate you wanted, and then go back. And generally, the fish or meat was ready. We never had any problems with food not being up to temperature. And as foodies, given that it was a buffet restaurant. I would certainly give the food a solid 8 out of 10. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And given the pressure they must be under because the restaurant can get very busy, they always welcomed you with a smile. The location of that hotel was ideal. It was a short walk of about 10 minutes to the beach. Where bars and restaurants were abundant, should you choose to use them? I highly recommend what’s known as Bikers Bar. Because the live rock music in there was excellent with the resident band at the time. And we had a great night in there. We love all music and have very eclectic tastes. Given that an awful lot of the guests at the hotel. were 50 plus including ourselves. Each night the music in the pool bar was a different genre or style of music. It wasn’t always to our tastes. But the majority of the musicians were extremely professional and it was certainly the best entertainment we have ever had in a hotel. Some people have commented about the entertainment around the pool area in the afternoon It was generally only for an hour or two and never really disturbed our enjoyment. In summary due to the quality of food, the friendly staff, the location of the hotel, and the high standard of entertainment around the pool bar on an evening. We have decided to book the hotel again for next year. Given the fruit fly issue that other reviews have talked about. It. This isn’t a decision we made lightly. But on balance, the positives of the hotel far outweigh the small negatives. Yes, some of the rooms are looking a little tired with the chipped furniture in places. But the staff make a real effort to clean all of the areas very well. And the hotel is a very pleasant place to relax. The final comment relates to the Wi-Fi. For various reasons, I need a good reliable Wi-Fi connection and after two days I noticed the WiFi was disconnecting with extreme frequency. This was irritating. Although the speed when connected was more than adequate the frequent disconnections sometimes every few minutes made me think that if anyone came away needing to make video calls or to do work. This could be a problem for some people.
