The hotel is close to the airport, less than 10€ by taxi. We had requested an adapted room, and given 1099. Check in was quick, friendly and easy. The hotel is well organised with helpful and pleasant staff. The restaurant is comfortable, with a great selection of meats and fish. Breakfast can be a little chaotic with staff struggling to clear and reset tables at busy times. The AI drink selection is adequate but not as extensive as some hotels I have stayed in. The gardens around the hotel buildings are beautiful with many plants named. The pools area is well maintained with plenty of sun beds. The animation team work very well. The evening entertainment is excellent with only one poor act over our eleven night stay. There is a back exit to the hotel taking you to the enormous beach. You need your room card to get back in, there a foot wash area to clean the sand off your feet. The hotel also provides a laundry area free of charge to the guests. The hotel caters well for disabled guests offering tags to put on sun beds by the pool and tables in the restaurant. All hotels should learn from this. Our adapted room didn’t have a marvellous view and the furniture was a little “tired”. My wife has difficulty walking but doesn’t use wheelchair as she wants keep her independence for as long as possible. The room was a long way from the pool and restaurant area for her, and also next to the hotel service area and sometimes noisy. I should have asked for a change of room when we arrived. This might have been possible but it appears that adapted rooms are very popular. We intend to return in the summer and will ask for a different room. The room was the only thing that let our holiday down. To all the staff, thank you.

We stayed at Los Jameos Hotel last week and booked this hotel after reading reviews on TA. We are very well travelled and have stayed in lovely hotels all over the globe. I'm not sure how we missed booking Los Jameos before?? We had a fantastic stay in our Deluxe Room (would recommend booking a Deluxe Room as they are on the higher floors and give you the better view). The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the staff are always smiling and very willing to help with any request. There are lots of small areas around the different swimming pools so you don't feel crowded. The grounds are beautifully kept and it was so lovely to walk from our hotel room to the Dining Room amongst the palm trees and flowering shrubs. We booked Half Board as we like to dine out and are not keen on buffet dinners. The food in the restaurant at both breakfast and dinner gave extensive choice and was served very efficiently by the chefs. There is a separate entrance onto the beach area where there are numerous bars and restaurants which was so convenient. We have rarely returned to the same hotel as we like to experience different locations and areas but we will definitely return to Los Jameos in the future.

The best I,ve stayed at for along time. From the first look at the hotel,I knew I was going to enjoy my stay there. A very competent and helpful reception area ,had us being shown to a spacious room in the main building on the 3 rd floor, I had requested. Even by having a look at several other rooms ,shown by Sandra, did not deter me choosing . Being disabled,we were a little daunting about getting in of the bath too use the shower. This was rectified almost immediately by a bath chair and non slip cover being installed. Tea /coffee facilities ,even a Coffee maker separate put in daily. Plenty of storage/hanging cupboards. A reasonable view out on the pool areas, which had the sun from mid morning through-out the day. Room is above the dining area, but had no noise from there. Lifts were large enough to take a motorised disabled buggy. The whole hotel area ,comprises of several blocks that did,not look regimental. Two pool bars ,with helpful staff. Only one Dining area split from cold food inside ,to hot food outside, is a little daunting at first when you see the amount of people using the place. The food was a buffet system, and food (meat, fish etc)cooked freshly made to order. Being all inclusive, the only slight down side I saw was the lack of themed food . Only Mexican , continental and German/Austrian on offer, but all very well presented. A Christmas gala was enjoyable , and not a turkey in sight. The other down side was the lack of ALL cocktail drinks being included, as all inclusive. But all in all, we would come back again without hesitation , and wish to thank all of the stall that made our stay eventful.

Dear Ron, First of all, I would like to thank you for having chosen our Seaside Los Jameos**** and for having taken the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor. I am very pleased to read that you were satisfied with our friendly and helpful service and described our hotel as the best you have stayed at up till now. Our culinary offer is one of our trademarks and we strive to offer lots of variety with our mix of lavish buffets and show cooking. Concerning the country themed dinners, apart from the Mexican and German/Austrian night, we also have our Asian, Spanish, 1001 night and Italian themed night, as well as our fortnightly gala dinners. Our all-inclusive cocktails comprise 5 different cocktails, however our all-inclusive beverage menu also offers lots of aperitifs, liquors and spirits and soft drinks. Our guests’ opinion is of utmost importance and I have already taken note of your wish for a more extended cocktail list. In any case I have to advance, that the list will not comprise all possible cocktails, as this won’t be feasible for operational reasons. Once again, thank you for your stay and feedback. It was a pleasure having you and we hope it won’t be long until your return. My very best wishes, Beate Reber-Sekula, General Manager Seaside Los Jameos****

We have just returned from a week at the Jameos and have nothing but praise for this wonderful hotel and staff who made our stay so special. The staff can't do enough to ensure your holiday is a great experience, The food is excellent and always fresh and well presented. The waiting and bar staff are always on hand to make sure your table is cleared or your glass is full and everyone greets you with a smile. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the beach with shops and promenade a step away, spotless and well maintained and the gardeners and pool staff ensure the grounds are kept in excellent condition. From reception to entertainment to room cleaning the service was first class. We were in a deluxe room, 4085, which provided a frontline view of the sea and a spacious balcony with sun loungers. The room was clean and there was plenty of storage and power sockets, the beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful, although the bathroom became very warm when using the hairdryer so if you feel the heat it might be wise to bring your own . The inevitable Covid regulations did not spoil our enjoyment and the staff ensured guests were safe and happy. We were sorry to leave and look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Our 6 day stay met all our expectations - perfect weather, good food choice, comfortable rooms, good facilities. Having stayed in several similar resorts in Lanzarote and other Canary Islands, it was a bit too large for our taste but although quite crowded at times, never had to queue for meals if you were happy to dine inside, and always found a prepared table. Compared to other places, I did not feel Los Jameos was understaffed. Waiter service was quick except for our very first night when we arrived late and had to eat towards the end of the dining session. I observed that mask wearing was generally adhered to as well as hand sanitising.
If you required pool side sunbeds and ones which were not in shade all day, you did need to find them ridiculously early. I witnessed several people sitting in the dark on their sunbeds, reading using tourches. The timing notes put on by staff did seem to work as I never saw reserved sunbeds left unused for long periods. I felt the “no inflatables” rule was a bit harsh as my 4 year old grandson wasn’t allowed to use a rubber ring with an animal head on it.
The location of the resort is very good, only a short taxi ride from the airport, though planes not too intrusive, and easy access to the promenade. The retail outlets were very trashy but the restaurants and cafes looked good, if you weren’t on all-inclusive.
The staff at Los Jameos were, without exception, friendly and helpful. Reception staff ordered taxis for us and also printed out the passenger locator forms for our departure. The only reason I would not return to this resort is that I like to try different places for each holiday.

January at the Jameos is tranquil, professional and a delight. The cross section of age is between 50 to 80 so no marauding gangs of lads acting the goat or getting ratted. The hotel is a German well run professional hotel. It is immaculate In cleanliness, the same staff have been there for years. Mrs F and I stay in 4045 it’s the room we like but all of the hotel is superb. The food is lovely. I have NEVER had a meal that isn’t hot or nice. You always have steaks, chicken and fish with fantastic salads. It is an all inclusive which is fantastic. We stayed for 10 days in beautiful 20 22 degs weather. The same faces ar there year after year. There are well to do Southern Eire bridge clubs who play the game all day and night, lovely lovely people. The food is great.
The staff from to to bottom are a pleasure to deal with, nothing is too much trouble. You can go on tours of the hotels kitchens and laundries at any time. Now when you through yours lf open to that type of,openess you have nothing to hide. I really can’t work out which is better the hotel, the food, the staff or the cleanliness of the place. If you look at the whole picture it is what makes the place fantastic place to sit and watch the world go bye. Myself personally I have no need to go outside the complex. Everything I want is here for food drink staff and ambiance. The management should take great credit in what they’re have here. Can’t say what it is like in June July August September but me and Mrs T just love the place. Plenty of sun beds mattereses and shade. Great night sleeps comfy quiet rooms

In this world you only get what you pay for. I always book direct with the hotel and pay them direct. This is a German Bentley of a great hotel.
Compliments to all for another fantastic stay with your great staff.
Can’t find a thing wrong, keep the standards up please senior management.
Fantastic place to stay.

We booked this hotel on a last minute deal for a few nights away looking for some sunshine and were pleasantly surprised by every aspect of this affordable hotel.

From our room we had an incredible view of the beach and tennis courts, however the room was a little tired and could have done with a bit of TLC - not that this mattered to us since we didn't spend much time in the room.

As vegetarians we were worried regarding food since this is something we have had problems with at other all inclusive resorts. However we always found plenty of options as well as: chips, pizza & pasta as back ups if needed! There was a large vegan dish every meal which was delicious. The dishes were all clearly labelled and staff were exceptionally knowledgeable about dietary requirements and allergies. The only night we struggled slightly was German/Bavarian Night!

The hotel looked stunning with a unique Western theme which was carried all the way through. The grounds and pool areas were stunning so beautifully kept and clean at all times.

Myself and my partner both loved the piano bar. It was great to have a formal bar in the evenings to talk without having to go into the theatre area. The drinks were all great and most of the time included premium spirits. At the beginning of our stay were were a little confused with how the system operates at this resort. If you are all inclusive, when ordering a drink you have to hand over your room key which is then scanned adding your drinks to the room as such. For the first couple of times we were worried that we would be left with a large bill at the end of the holiday.

The couple of niggles that we had:

Loungers - people got up exceptionally early to put their towels on the sun beds meaning that after 10am there often was any left. Also some guests reserved their sun beds then left the hotel for the morning / day.

Restaurant - Everyone seemed to eat exceptionally early, meaning a large number of guests were queuing to get into the buffet at 6pm (it opened at 6.15pm) since the restaurant received a large influx of the guests at this time it sometimes meant there were no tables a little later in the evening. One evening we had to wait an hour before a table was ready for us.

Dear Georgia, Thank you for choosing to stay at our Seaside Los Jameos**** and for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We are glad to read that on the whole you were pleasantly surprised with your stay at our hotel and appreciated the variety of food and drinks, the exceptionally knowledgeable staff and the evening entertainment on our lovely piano bar. I regret however, that we couldn’t meet your expectations in other regards. I would like to apologize if you encountered difficulties finding a sunbed in the mornings. The reservation of sunbeds is not permitted in our hotel and our staff strives to prevent such a practice by removing the towels every 90 minutes starting from 9 am. Next time, should you encounter the same issue, please do not hesitate to contact our pool boys that are always happy to help. Regarding our restaurant, we apologise for the inconveniences you encountered at the beginning of our service, we are unfortunately not able to restrict the number of clients wishing to have dinner early but we will try to be extra attentive to avoid long waiting times for clients arriving later. Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience caused. I have shared your valuable feedback with all the team at the hotel and we hope that you will join us again soon. All the best for you, Beate Sekula, General Manager Seaside Los Jameos****

We have recently returned from a fabulous week at the Seaside Los Jameos. We have been going to this hotel at this time of year with friends for five years now and it is the only hotel we repeatedly visit. The standard of service, food and cleanliness are all excellent. It is a hotel with its own unique colonial style which is the reason perhaps why some guests suggest it may need updating. We disagree and think it to be an extremely comfortable hotel with superb grounds and pools.
We love its location, close to the beach with easy level walking and with bus stops and taxi ranks immediately outside the hotel if one wants to travel further afield. It is a large hotel consisting of several blocks. I always email the reception team requesting a pool view close to the reception. They respond promptly and although they say they cannot guarantee my request they have always done so. Thank you. We book category B, superior rooms as we prefer to be on a higher floor.
The weather this year was particularly good - 24/25C meaning we escaped the terrible stormy weather that England was suffering.
Thank you Los Jameos staff for an excellent holiday once again. See you next year.

Los Jameos Playa is super close to the airport, with easy access by taxi or bus. We always like to come back to this place as the staff already knows us and it feels extremely familiar. The hotel was renovated recently and it was even more pleasant and beautiful then I remembered. I truly recommend this place for its variety of activities and different areas of relaxation. They have a huge lobby where there is also a piano bar and where they have some artists singing beautifully during some evenings. There’s also a bar next to the restaurant where they have all sorts of entertaining crews, from singers to magicians and acrobats. I love that after dinner we knew that a special show was waiting for us.
Now about the food, I have only praise words as they have everything and the ingredients are always super fresh and delicious. I liked their exquisite salads and the fresh fish they would make every night in front of us.
The pool areas are extremely big, so this is why you also get some privacy through their amazing palm trees leaves and tropical plants. Loved the newly renovated pool bar, super tropical and the drinks were uber cool. The rooms are always cozy and extremely clean and I like that they all have small terraces where you can enjoy the sun privately. They have also outdoor and indoor spaces with games for children, so the hotel is kids and family friendly as well.
So, if you don’t know what destination to choose for your upcoming trip, I really recommend the Canary Islands and for Lanzarote, definitely Seaside Los Jameos for the good food, entertainment, drinks, sun and fun.

We are humbled that our products and services were to your expectations and feedback like yours goes a long way in helping us raise our service levels even higher. Thank you for praising our rooms and food. Most of our guests enjoy having their own private terrace or balcony. Referring our gastronomy, our chefs will be pleased to learn that they met your palette! I wish to thank you again for your loyalty. It makes us feel very proud to read that our hotel is extremely familiar. We would love to welcome you back, hopefully in a not-too-distant future. Sunny greetings from Lanzarote, Beate Sekula, General Manager Seaside Los Jameos****
