Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a beautiful setting and the huts are very clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was simple but tasty and it was great to be up close to the reindeer and llama. Whilst the staff are friendly, they are less helpful when there is a problem. I would recommend that they tell guests that there is no dinner available and they offer a free shuttle bus to Levi at 6 and bring you back at 8. They didn’t inform us about this in advance and we asked before we stayed for a recommendation for somewhere to go which they gave us but sadly they wouldn’t drop us off so we had to pay for taxis which are not cheap. In our communications, they said they would drop us off for free. All v confusing and it didn’t make for a very pleasant introduction to the resort. It would also have been great for them to help with taking your luggage to the huts to make the welcome experience a bit nicer. Given you are spending a lot of money to stay here, the attention to detail on customer service could have been better.

We spent one night in the beautiful glass igloo, which was equipped with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The bathroom had a lot of towels and even two bathrobes. Also, the bathroom was stocked with free amanity. The best thing about the accommodation is the very nice staff and owner, a Sami family. The hotel is located in a farm, where they have reindeers, dogs, a cat, sheep and even an alpaca!

Don’t book Northern Lights Huts! They made use of the pandemic to steal EUR 500 from me! I booked via booking.com last August to stay in this place in September for our honeymoon. However, Finland closed the border right before our departure. I asked what Northern Lights Huts could help. Northern Lights Huts replied at first to re-book the stay. I asked if there were more flexible solutions and Northern Lights Huts stopped replying! I had to involve booking.com and after a few negotiations, Northern Lights Huts refused to give coupons I could use in the future, nor rebooked the trip in the next season. Instead, Northern Lights Huts insisted I could only rebook until March 2021. However, soon after Northern Lights Huts replied this solution, they cancelled my reservation on booking.com with “no-show”. In this case, I couldn’t leave any review on booking.com nor re-book the trip with help from booking.com. Northern Lights Huts apparently had no interested to welcoming guests but to steal money from people! Booking.com’s customer service tried to contact Northern Lights Huts without success. What a shame for Northern Lights Huts to make use of this unfortunate pandemic to steal money! No one should ever support such a business!

Amazing facilities, everything is brand new and thought out. I loved the decor, modern with a touch of rustic. The views from inside are amazing- we didn’t get to see the Lights but the sky was clear and it was nice to sleep under the stars. My only complaint here is the fact that there’s a loud mechanism that clicked on and off throughout the night, and for those with light sleep like myself would find it hard to sleep. I think it was a heating mechanism. That needs to be addressed.

The huts were beautiful and very clean. The huts were very comfortable and the lay out was very efficient. The location being on a reindeer farm made it extra special. Good spot to see the Northern Lights, which we did! We highly recommend this location and we be certainly be returning!

We loved our stay in these beautiful, well made cottages. Looking up and seeing the stars through the glass ceiling as we went to sleep was an incredible experience. The property was charming and has reindeer all around, even very young ones. The morning breakfast was delicious and the staff was warm and personable. This property is a little outside of town but was an easy taxi ride to anywhere we wanted to go. We preferred staying in the true woods of Lapland. It’s what we came to experience. We enjoyed every cold minute :)

The new and comfortable hut was an excellent base for watching northern lights from one's bed. You could even put the kettle on, hop out to enjoy the show and head back in to warm up with a cup of tea. Breakfast was very good and very complete (we stayed five nights and I didn't even get to try all that was on offer). You could go the whole day on it without getting hungry. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable. They can help you sort out tons of activities and get good spots in local restaurants. The farm is something of an institution in the area, having been there for centuries.

I made the reservation for two nights in Northern Light Huts. I am suprised of experience to sleep under windows and see millions of stars twinkling. Huts are new, warm and very clean. Fridge, WC, shower, shampoo and other small toalet items including toothbrush. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and served in main building. We went also to sauna situated near main building. Country skiing tracks were going by area. Lovely experience and I recommend warmly!
