Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good, but the price spoils the culinary experience! Not of all the dishes have the same high level of quality and even if you choose the ones you like, the price is now too expensive. Few years ago, this restaurant was overcrowded and the prices...reasonables, now half of the table are free on Friday evening…. With such high prices, Nobu’s direction get what they deserve.More

Sure, here's a rewritten version of the experience: Although we had high expectations for Nobu, our experience was disappointing. The dishes were served very slowly, and when they finally arrived, the food was cold. We were surprised when the waiter returned the half skewer of...cold beef after heating it up instead of replacing it. This level of service and quality is not what we expected from a Michelin-level restaurant, especially from a renowned chain like Nobu. We have visited other branches around the world and expected the same level of excellence. We hope that Nobu takes our feedback into consideration to improve their service and quality.More

Perfect evening with great food and service at Nobu restaurant, we have a business in Japan since 1997 and I have lived there and visited 100 plus times! Normally we don’t eat at Japanese restaurants in EU as they always disappoint but Nobu serves great...food and has a great team, thanks for a fantastic evening!More

We asked for a couple of starters which were delicious. However, as a main we all asked for the Bento boxes. The cod was full of bones, overcooked and dry. There was a sushi that didn’t have a good appearance and the sashimi was not...cut properly. I don’t know what it was, but all of us ended up with a brick in the stomach that lasted the rest of the day.More

I was really excited to have dinner at Nobu but got really disappointed. Service was really awful. We had to wait 40 mins at the table before being able to order. Usually, if you have to wait long, the staff asks you for an apero...with sparkling wine, but in this situation we were left behind, nor even bringing water to the table. Beside being slow, was not prepared and attentive as well: we asked multiple times to present the dishes in English since part of the table was not able to understand Italian, but it didn't happened, and way worst, at some point they stopped presenting them at all! Which is crazy for a tasting menu without any detail on the menu and paid 150 euro. As well we asked for wine pairing, there wasn't the option to do it, so they told us they would have asked the sommelier to think about it.. First arrived one "sommelier" not prepared at all, was not able to give suggestions not even aware of the menu..then they sent us another one, which looked professional and supported us in the pairing. Wine is another pain point: We took 2 bottles, one red paid 170 euro (market price 35) and even worst, a white for 90 euro (on the market available for ELEVEN EUROS). Now I understand the markup and the profit margins, but it's really outrageous to charge a bottle 9x more on an 11 euro one. The food: average quality but overpriced, not real outstanding serving, nothing that gets stuck with you. I liked the a lot the pre dessert, with the different consistencies and the ceviche with jalapeños. Sushi was OK, but again, I've had better sushi in cheaper places. Definitely not worth it, with 250/300 euro per person you can have a better dinner in one of the numerous Michelin stars restaurants in the city that can offer you a real gourmet experience and not just a pretentious meal in a pretentious place. To be honest, i felt almost scammed, and i never leave bad reviews, but given the prices, I cannot skip it this time. Not recommended.More

summer holiday in Milano , Hong Kong has Nobu too , but the vibe is totally different . Milano Nobu is more fancy , high-end , quiet and chill. Also the sushi/ food is very yummy and delicate. cocktail is also very good quality and...standard . overall I enjoy and like to go to Nobu for an easy aperitivo before I head to dinner. but yes Price is not cheap, but why don't you treat yourself a nice drink in a nice place .More

The Japanese food is ok but I have had better Japanese food in Asia or Canada. I found the tempura batter was a bit too thick.

Ten years ago this place was lively and dynamic, albeit at times a little louche (which to be honest was part of its appeal). Now they probably want to come across as serious and sophisticated but end up being drab, dreary, petit-bourgeois and provincial. The...staff at the door appear completely inexperienced and incapable of dealing with people in an appropriate manner. It is no suprise that the place is always empty. Why waste your money hear? Total rubbish.More

This is by far the worst Nobu for fish quality. I counted at lunch today that I’ve been to 17 Nobus globally. The best all round is the mid town one in NYC. The worst for service is at Atlantis, Bahamas as the service is...hilariously bad. I’ve got a house there and have been many times, always entertainingly bad, but the fish is pretty good. Anyway, Milan Nobu is not too bad for service, but the fish was old, really tasted off. I had 8 different sashimis, black cod, some salads etc. If you must eat here I would just go for tempura to be sure you sterilise anything nasty as the fish really is poor.More

As always, nobu keeps it's quality and service perfect. Once again we had the 8 courses signature menu and every dish was a pleasant surprise. Dessert was a cute "happy anniversary platter with a delicious lava cake. I would recommend the full menu if you...have a big appetite and you want to try their best dishes. Tottaly worth it!More

We loved everything we ate here! We started with the tacos and crispy rice-both great. The Wagyu steak was amazing! We ended up adding a third order. The broccoli shiso is unique and tasty. Throw in a bottle of rose champagne and you end up...ordering the chocolate bento box too :-) The service was good-better than other places. Highly recommend Nobu!More
