We asked the gelateria owner a few blocks away about the best pasta place serving local food, and that is how we end up in this nice locale. The place at 6 pm was already full inside and only a couple of tables were free...outside. We received complimentary bruschetta as an appetizer, then proceeded with Sicilian salad and finished with a couple of pasta dishes. The waiter paired it with local white wine. The food was very good.More
This was our favorite restaurant in Taormina. We had dinner here twice. The restaurant is busy, so either make a reservation or get there early. We shared apps, pastas and meats so we could try different things. Everything was very good and reasonably priced. One...of our favorite items was the chef special appetizer plate, you won’t know what’s on it until you get it, and it’s different everyday. You won’t be disappointed eating here!More
The Food was ok but the staff, all of them, were very stressed and Rude..It was not a relaxed lunch, they were in a hurry and it seems that they are making a favor for you to have you there!DISSAPOINTING,SHAME!!Many other places with same or higher quality foods...and with an friendly environment and professional care, they are not professional.More

A nice place but nothing more, compared to other places in Taromina. Always a queue we decided on Monday that we would wait in line in order to see what all the fuss was about. After about 40 minutes we were finally seated inside. We...selected various items between the 4 of us although my wife having selected an unavailable sardine dish asked the waiter to surprise her with something special. He nodded and moved on. Our drinks arrived quickly, a nice bottle of etna red and a couple of beers. Antipasti arrived. A fine spread to include bruschetta. While this was very nice the real star of the show here, as with everywhere else we have visited are the tomatoes. Ultimately nothing yet to make this place worth a queue of 40 minutes or more over anywhere else. And so to the mains. My chicken dish arrived. As there are no detailed descriptions on menu it was abit of a guessing game but it transpired it was a chicken breast with lemon slices. Basic, well cooked but abit boring. My friends had pasta dishes which they observed were alittle dissapointed with. OK, but not the best. Finally to my wife who was it seems forgotten and ultimately recieved nothing. The waiter deferred the mistake, stating that she had said she did not want anything....so clearly it wasn't lost in translation. No matter, with such large antipasti dishes we asked for an extra plate and shared what we had. Subsequently we did try deserts however there is little point speaking about these. Visit any patisserie or cafe and taromina and you will do better. More likely home made that shipped in like these. In summary, if you could walk straight in and sit it would probably be fine, but there is nothing here to recommend a wait of any length. There are too many better places elsewhere to explore and enjoy.More
There is always a lineup for this restaurant. Depending on when you get there, expect a 45 to 60-minute wait. Every dish is huge, even the appetizers. We clearly ordered too much (after eating at the restaurant with minuscule portions the night prior). I would...not call the food very refined but it is good and there is plenty of it. Definitely worth the wait.More
We arrived before they are open for lunch. They reserved two tables for our group and informed us to come back at 12 when they are open for lunch. The tables were set when we came back and they couldn’t be more friendly. The food...was delicious and reasonably priced. I would go there every day!More
This is simply nice! Pleasant atmosphere, great food, good service! Try the fish for two, an the tiramisu!
Fabulous food and most of the time you do have to queue but dont be put off because its not too long before you are sat down and being served beautiful food. I would suggest you get to this restaurant early though to avoid dissapointment....Fabulous food and service xxxMore
There's always a queue in front of this place and now we know why. The pasta was divine! And huge portions.
You can usually tell how good a place is when there kitchen is open to the public to see. Excellent Service Excellent Food VERY VERY Clean washrooms Make sure you go early, there usually is a lineup
First night we couldn’t get table. So next night we came earlier and get table right away. The staff was very friendly and there also visit musicians. I had to wait my pasta alla norma some time but it was the best pasta ever.
The staff is very very kind !❤️🇮🇹 Every food was delicious 😋 the place is very lovely 😍 the sea food was tasty and the tomatoes were very juicy
If you want awesomely genuine Sicilian food, this is a must! Down a quaint side street the staffbis super attentive and friendly. The food is delicious, we had the Sicilian salad, parmesean caponata, pasta with sardines and fennel and pasta a la Norma. Well it...was the best meal after two weeks traveling through Sicily. Order the Planeta wine, Nero D'avola grape!More
