It is one of the most delicious food in Italy, the service is excellent, and the views unparalleled. Me and my family cannot wait to come back to this beautiful place.

Our tour group arrived for dinner after a long day of touring and were quite hungry. Luckily, this place had plenty of food and the staff (I believe it it family owned) kept offering us seconds of the dishes. We enjoyed antipasti, pasta, beef with...peas, and dessert. It's not necessarily five-star cuisine but everything was tasty and plentiful. Several of our tour group purchased their grappa and limoncello as souvenirs. I'm happy to support family farms that operate in the agritourism space.More
We visited Poggio Alloro in 2015 on a family holiday and absolutely loved it. Being back in the area we could not miss the opportunity to revisit. It was with a little trepidation we sat down for the meal in case it did not live...up to our memory, but we need not have worried. The meal was superb. The service was quick but not rushed and each course was delicious. The meal was accompanied by their own excellent wines. I cannot recommend Poggio Alloro enough, if you’re in this area of Tuscany ensure that you book early.More
My wife and I had dinner and could not have been more impressed with the property, dinner, wine and overall experience. Reading several positive reviews we had high expectations…not only were they met but far exceeded them. Everyone was so nice and so many food...options, all delicious. A can’t miss and admittedly still can’t believe how inexpensive it was. And we ordered, shipped home several bottles of wine and olive oil! Can’t wait to return.More
We visited as an outing on our Adventures by Disney tour. We were not disappointed. Sarah was wonderful! We toured the farm, attended a pasta making class and had an amazing lunch on the patio. My wine shipment arrived a few days ago and I...am reminded of the trip and amazing people all over again!More
We visited this place for lunch as part of a Tuscany day trip from Florence as a tour group. The sampling of cheese and cold cuts was fun. The ragu pasta was filling. The highlight was the wine tasting - Vernaccia di San Gimignano (white...wine) and Vin Santo ( Dessert wine) with Cantucci ( Biscotti) stood out in particular.More
Beautiful views looking out to San Gimignano. Delicious food and wines all from their farm. Everyone very welcoming and friendly. Well worth the visit. Even bought their book about the history of the farm and also include some of their recipes, a great read.
This winery is an easy 5km drive from San Gimignano through very scenic Tuscany countryside. We has a very enjoyable lunch with friends. The menu was fixed price, all inclusive. The food was varied, well presented, delicious and more than ample. The view across the...countryside to the towers of San Gimignano was stunning. We highly recommend the winery for a luncheon spot.More
We had the tasting menu from the restaurant. The dishes was really good, as well as the wine. I am gluten allergic and they made everything for me as well. This meant that I could eat the same as my friends. Great service, people and...view. Would absolutely recommend it!More
I can't say enough about Fattoria Poggio Allogio and this property. The views, the food, the staff, and more.... First, the people who host it. Sarah, her cousin (I forgot his name, sorry) and their focus on attention to detail was outstanding. I originally saw...their video on Youtube, so I researched it on the web and read the reviews. All were a "home run". My wife, daughter and I made reservations for lunch. From the moment we arrived were greeted with a smile and the warmth and hospitality as if we were family. The setting and vistas are breathtakingly terrific and gorgeous. Their attention to detail is outstanding The young lady who served our lunch was friendly, HAPPY, and courteous (sorry I forgot her name.) . Then, the food. It was fresh and tasty. First, the cheese board, then the salad, then 2 bottles of wine, then the main lunch dish. Awesome... If you have the opportunity to visit and meet Sarah and the people at Fattoria Poggio Alloro, please, do. You will be absolutely pleased....More
The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff made our experience truly exceptional. We were impressed by how accommodating they were to our dietary preferences, customizing the set menu. What really stood out was their extraordinary kindness and assistance when we faced an issue with...our car. The staff went above and beyond to help us and were incredibly helpful. We can't recommend this restaurant enough. The ambiance, the food, and the staff's hospitality make it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to savor a remarkable dining experience.More
Stopped for wine tasting and had unfortunately missed it but were blown away by the welcome we received by the owner. Celebrating a BIG birthday we were gifted cheese, wine and champagne. Absolutely unexpected, the wine was delicious , so much so that we felt...we just HAD to purchase a few bottles. This is a place that should be on everyone’s hit list when visiting Tuscany. Breathtaking views, serene ambience and altogether a fabulous experience.More
This agriturismo is the closest thing to paradise.....I was just there with my family and we were blown away by the ambiance, setting, staff and hospitality.....I would like to thank all those who helped to make our family vacation an absolute remarkable memory. Renzo made...sure that we had the best accommodations and great food..and lots of laughs..I would also like to that Marta, Asia (for her wonderful tour of the working farm), Erinda, Francesco and Tommaso (and so many, many more) who kept 14 of us (6 of whom were children ages 6-14) in an absolute state of euphoria.....If you have the opportunity in this life to spend time in a place that will fill your soul and care for your natural instincts, spend a few days with these amazing people at this hidden, joyful setting. We are so grateful to have met all of you and experienced the most wonderful time at your agriturismo......THANK YOU ALL!.....Carol PrattMore
Organic Winery and Farm. Best view of San Gimignano. Everything from their flour, pasta, bread vegetables, meat, olive oil is produced organically and on site. We had three wines a white a Chianti a San Gimignano (Cabernet Franc) and Vin Santo. To eat home made...pasta ragù, salad, bread, prosciutto, salame and two pecorino cheeses ( beyond delicious) The Vin Santo was served with cantucci biscotti which is a classic Tuscan dessert. Superb.More
Visited this place during lunchtime as part of a Tuscany Day trip from Florence. It was such a lovely experience with great tasting food. The restaurant had a kids friendly menu as well. The highlight would have to be the quality of the wines that...we sampled, as well as the beautiful Tuscan countryside which makes you feel you’re in a different world altogether. Totally worth the experience :)More
