Very nice athmosphere and excellent service. The quality of the food is really good, portion sizes are large and pricing in decent. Will definately visit again

Had lunch here with my spouse. Food was not really mediterranean and quality was poor. Chicken was very dry and tasteless. Salad watery. Friendy staff though and cute ole building.
Antika is a restaurant with a nice interior, a limited number of tables inside and quite a number of tables outside. We visited on a hot evening, so staying inside was an easy decision. As a starter, tsatsiki and greek salad was a good combination...for two regarding both quality and quantity. As a main dish, moussaka was a full casserole of tasty food. The size of the portion was more than enough since it was also served with a salad. Agamemnon steak was quite good but the connection with Greece was not very evident. I expected to find a lamb dish in the menu. On their wine list they have two retsinas and especially Agathon had lots of resin taste reminding us from visits in Greece. The service was OK in spite of numerous customers,More
I have visited Tampere twice within 20 years, in 1996 and 2016. And both times I visited with a small group Antika restaurant. We got excellent food, especially I remember a mixed dish called Zeusin lihapata. The service was prompt and very friendly. In overall...- absolutely recommended.More
I would describe the restaurant as Greek themed steak house more than a Greek restaurant. However, the food is very good and the service was friendl y. It's a bit expensive but would reccomend a visit.
verry goo meze as starter. main course good beef and lamb tested. also greece white wine good. not bad price level
After a greek salad for starters (was OK), we chose meat for the main course. My wife had a minute steak, whereas I chose the pepper steak. Both were very good, and the cognag-cream gravy on the pepper steak was heavenly. The waiter told us...that many customers come in just because of it, and I can understand that. Large portions, we were too full to try a dessert. There were not too many customers the Saturday afternoon that we visited, but a couple of weeks earlier, at the same time, we were turned away because the place was full. That is also saying something. Reservation recommended. Friendly service, off the beaten track.More
Have loved this Greek restaurant in Tampere for a long time. It’s been 15 years since visited last time and the quality is still getting better. The place is an old bakery that was build in 1900. Their huge oven is a nice decorative element...that was first user in 1905. On top of each table one can purchase a name plate for oneself or company to support the restaurant and have their own table. Premature cool huh. Had my parents in law visiting and they loved it, because Greek like to eat the food like chinese by sharing everything. We had starters tsatsiki and tomato soup followed by meze piato a mix plate of Greek food. The main dishes were the highlight of the evening. The meatstue of Zeus was so soft and juicy that it was pure pleasure to eat it. As well as mousaka, oven made vegetable dish that was the best dish of the evening. Something that they need to improve is the salmon that we had . The Greek grilled vegetables were super awesome but fish had no flavor. The place is baby friendly and they have baby chair as well as menu. The service was polite and professional. They accept all the major credit and depot card. If you need more info on me.More
Good food in unique atmosphere. I've visited this many times never disappointed. Can be recommended.
This is a small place. Used to be a bakery many, many years ago. Now a charming little restaurant. The service was excellent, polite and professional. The food was delicious from soup on through to dessert. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, pink and tender....The red cabbage is just like your mother used to make. The Swedish ice cream sundae with caramel sauce and fresh fruit was yummy! The waiter told us that this is how the Swedes get their vitamins - from the fruit on this amazing dessert. Don't miss it!More
This is the place to visit if you like the feeling of fine dining with white table cloths, fresh flowers and candles on the table but with the food prices of an average restaurant. Had the meze-platter for two as a starter and it was...really good. The tzatziki had a lot of garlic and was super good and so was also the olivepaste and everything else on the platter. Ate the Ifestos pepper steak as the main course and that was really good except of the french fries that was the ones that you can find from every store nearby. The fries were not crispy and they lacked salt complitely. Otherwise this course would also have been perfekt. We asked the waiter for wine recommendations and he gave very good suggestions that worked well together with the foods, so if you are unsure of which wine would be the best for your meal just ask.More
The bright white atmosphere made me forget the Finnish winter for a while. Really good food from starters to the dessert: We had pita with tzatziki, then I ate a minute steak filled with feta and herbs with seasoned butter on top and delicious potato...wedges on side, and of course baklava with ice cream, whipped cream and apple compote for dessert. Everything was for the looks and taste pretty much what you would expect in a good sense. The only thing that slightly bothered me were the three small hair I found in my main course but we decided not to mention them or ask for a compensation. It was a small thing and it just seemed like somebody had been to a barbershop and maybe some loose hair remained in his clothes, face etc. and ended up on my plate. It shouldn't happen but it seems that even the very good can make mistakes by chance. It happens. Without this a very good, romantic weekend evening at the local restaurant.More
Greek or Mediterranean food lovers. This is a must visit. The food is wonderful and the building itself is a treasure as it is an old bakery. It's got charm and personality as do the servers. Enjoyable for all and I recommend a reservation especially...for large groups. You will thank me later for the recommendation. Don't forget to end the dinner with and Aphrodite's Kiss drink. It will warm you up and leave you smiling.More
It's a small restaurant next to the railways Greek foods tzatziki was good main course is just normal
Restaurant locates bit side from main business center (But NOT far). Building is around 100 years old, bringing the authentic athmosphere to restaurant. Service was polite and food exellent. Especially lamb and meze's which I tried were smelting in mouth. Also greek wine was much...better than expected - cheers for that! Prices is very reasonable - lower than in those ones in main street. Please note, that restaurant closes already at 22:00 on weekdays (last order at 21:00)More
