On the main road into Clare from Adelaide, this is a great stop for morning tea or a light lunch. Beautiful setting out on the verandah, and within walking distance of the Clare Caravan Park.
We visited Clare recently and on the recommendation of some Trip Advisor reviews, we called in at this attractive bakery for some coffee and lunch. The coffee was excellent, and so was our salad roll. This bakery is certainly worth a visit, and as one...More
Stopped on our last day for breakfast on the run - wish we had visited earlier! The coffee was good (and I'm fussy) and the pasty was nice. Partners potato pie was awesome. Go there when you "need" a vanilla slice - they looked awesome!...More
Dropped in on a Saturday morning to get something to take back to the caravan pk for morning tea and what a wonderful selection of cakes we ended up with more than we should have as we wanted to try a bit of everything!! The...More
A bakery with a good selection of yummy food although missed out on trying the Camel pie, maybe next time. Lovely balcony to sit and relax and maybe slip next door to the Kirrihill Cellar door!
Well it was Easter and we ate vanilla slices and coffee instead of Easter eggs so I suppose that is the excuse we gave ourselves. It's an institution in Clare so don't miss it
Lovely fig cheesecake and good selection of pies of offer including Camel! Blueberry filled bun excellent.
A good stop to have & quick meal. Look over the surrounding area & visit the adjoining wine tasting area
Freshly prepared food that will delight your taste buds and coffee that will sooth your senses, all served with care for attention to detail.
Best Bakery in Clare by far - love the fact they bake on the premises and source things regionally. Service is lovely but a bit disappointed there is no crockery any more for dining in.
No crockery! None. Everything served in landfill fodder. The young staff member tried to explain that they were being environmentally friendly, obviously "educated" by management. Staff and management please look again at your policies.
I've visited this place under a number of managers over the years. Very nice location, lovely view over the valley from their sheltered eating area. However, I didn't buy anything on this visit. I wanted a coffee and snack, but when I was told that...More
Called in for lunch on Saturday, hardly anything to choose from, people were walking away after us as there was nothing left! The pasty that I did get, was yummy and the potato pie that my husband got looked great, I think he enjoyed it,...More
Most local bakeries are good, but this one raises the bar. You'll be hard pushed deciding what to buy!
