don't go there if you don't know the owner. First time we whent whit the friend to the wasabi restaurant ,and he knew the owner and most of the crew, so the food was great. The second time we went alone, and it was a...desister. Food /Teppanyaki was cold, the food took hours to come ,the whole experience was never again. Your callMore
Courteous treatment, abundant food with many options, delicious and special drinks, a wide selection of desserts. Very tasty and satisfying, highly recommended.
Definitely not worth your money. the food has obviously been on the band for a long time. This can be seen in hardening sauce, chewy rice, sticky sushi. We had to pay 45 euros per person for two drinks and dirty old sushi. I don't...recommend it!More
They only put 3-4 types of sushi on. The sushi itself tastes not well, almost no fish in it. Out of the complete food offering only 10-15 % is actually sushi. The rest is other stuff. Not recommended.
One of the worst restaurant experiences EVER! You have to wait at least 20 minutes to get one drink which is not even a cocktail… Overpriced as hell… they are not telling you what’s included in the menu price and what is not… and in...the end, if it’s not enough they will try to cheat you😂 since I’m coming from the same industry I would forgive this whole thing cause especially nowadays restaurants have to survive, but please at least chose someone who is not here because of a Birthday party 😂More
Great choice of sushi. Continue fresh food keep pouring from the kitchen. Service is also relatively alright. If tables were cleared bit faster, the experience would be even better. Thank you.
Szepvolgyi is far best of all. Perfect taste and service. You can find various different style of food so there is zero chance your friends trying the first time this type of thing. Also best for those who are not sure they like sushi as...they can try without any risk the few selections. Even for hard core sushi lovers there are options but a warning for them this place is not for sushi only.More
Although there are more authentic sushi places in town we visit this restaurant (running sushi) from time to time. It’s our McDonald’s yet incomparably healthier and fun. The food is good and there are wide range of variety of meals which is great as we...all have different taste in the family: meat lovers, sea food fun and veggie. Our waitress- Lucia- was helpful, kind and quick, we felt welcomed and well-kept. Spicy pricing but worth the variety and fun.More
I cannot believe that Fifty euro worth of food delivery went direct to been. Food was cooked before 5pm, It was delivered 7pm, mostly hot food, except couple salads. It arrived room temperature. How do you think food was stored in those 2 hours? Hot...food hot and cold food cold? Nope! Everything on room temperature, which absolute ground for developing the bacteria. The temperature of weather that day was 32 degree Celsius. For me it wasn't worth giving to my kids, so I had to throw and come up with quick fix at home. We were eating omlett after spending 50 Euro that is 15,000HUF. I called restaurant for complaint, spoke to manager, her answer was "all she can offer is 20% discount on next order!" really? I wasn't satisfy with her answer so she asked me write email, which I have not receive any acknowledgment till date. I did check the temperature of hot food, everything was between 26-35 degree Celsius. please see the picture. Gyoza were probably deep fried from frozen, with white patches left. Would you eat the food which was in car for 2 hours and cold? Disgusting!More
It was not worth the money you pay at all!!! If you wanna eat yummy fresh sushi, that’s not the place, you get a lot of choices of wok dishes, desserts but not sushi. Service was okay, but we didn’t even get the explanation over...the tablet and how the system works. We just got tablet with no words.More

We visited Wasabi Extra in the inner city the day before, so we thought that we should visit the other one as well at Szepvolgyi ut. The place was crowded, so we had big expectations. Some sushi were dry and tasteless, there was only the...quarter of the choices compared to Wasabi Extra... I ordered 1 glass (2,5dl) and 1 mug(5 dl) of beer. We received 5dl of unfiltered wheat beer and 5dl normal beer... I asked for sweet and sour sauce and chili mayonnaise. We got 2 types of sweet and sour sauce and one other i couldn't recognize... I don't recommend the place at all. There were quarter sliced unpeeled oranges as well. Service is baad, food selection is poor.More

The location is interesting, if you are looking for a modern basement restaurant with no outside light coming in. But it is quite cosy, in its own way. Sushi is on international average. Not exciting, but it seems to be fresh. Lately, I fell for...a new dish called Ama Botaniuk, which was, when I tried it first, really fine cooked tender pork meat, slightly crispy on the outside, with a caramellized lightly sweet soy sauce. But what a deception when I tried it for the second time: The meat was roasted too much, completely dry and chewy. Curry is not their home ground either: vegetables are not cooked at all, apparently they use to throw then in only before serving. I beg your pardon: this is not what "al dente" means... Shrimp in the curry are tiny and dry. You don't find Kaffir lime leafs in every curry, that's a pity. In general: spices are there, but mostly consisting of chillies (they really dare to use them! :-)) and ginger. My advice to the restaurant: Please don't forget all the other Asian spices, such as galanga, lemon grass, thai basil etc.! The choice is huge, and this makes this restaurant to an all-time alternative to others in town. But: the prices are too high for BP. they should not apply London's price level here! Delivery takes them too long: a waiting time of 1 hour for a distance of 3 km is quite normal there, it can also go up to 1,5 or even 2 hours....More
