Waiter chased my group out of the restaurant rudely and claimed that they are people queueing but there were no queue at all . They were unhappy that we were talked too long and glared at us while collecting our bowls.

Came here because it seems famous with many store everywhere. We ordered 4 items even just the 2 of us eating. Everything tastes like water. The sesame paste has no favor of sesame. The milk pudding has no favor of milk. The 2 cold items we got had a lot of small cube of ice. I want it cold but I don’t want to eat ice cubes. The only good thing is it is very cheap. Will not come back and do not recommend anyone to come.

Yah, it reminds me abit the flavour of Vietnamese desserts. Nice experience to have!
We ordered 4 dishes (check the bill attached for the price)
(1) D3 Durian mango sago: not good looking as it all yellow, but the taste is good lah, strong sweet durian, it has real durian, I'm not kidding, frozen one, I guess but still nice!
(2) S6 Watermelon honeydew: I don't think it was a nice combination if you put the watermelon into a sweet soup dessert like this, but it turned out to be my most favourite at Ah Chew!!! beautiful looking, taste nice to me nom nom nom
(3) B1 Rock sugar white fungus papaya: arrrr I wish the taste is as nice and elegant as it looks, I just don't match this flavour like I think when ordering, I think I can taste the cinnamon, not sure they put it inside or not, but it's not my goût
(4) E3 Egg red bean: super soft and smooth nah, tastes incredible hahaha, like a sweet dessert version of chawanmushi, smells organic and I truly fall in love with its silky custard texture, while red bean is still in a seed shape but so soft and absorbs sugar well
The queue is super long and even gets longer from time to time, but the staff is ok, quick serve and always look for any new available table for new customers. Too crowded so there's not much space for taking nice pictures, but the atmosphere is cozy and like 1990s homes, I love this!

Really terrible customer experience. Staff are rude and can't handle inquiries very well. I didn't even bother line-up and try because of the poor service.

I was in the Bugis area and decide to pop by for a desert fix.
I was not disappointed. The peanut paste was not overly sweet. The mango sago with pomelo was nice (according to my son).

Came here for another mango pomelo sago in December 2019, after lunch nearby. Served quickly enough, but a little too much ice in mine compared to some previous visits. Still ok though.

Good dessert but bad service. We ordered mango sago and durrian sago ( one of the signatures) the taste very nice, no too sweet. Decoration follows the Chinese style, only one minus, the attitude of staff.

Always a long queue and service isn't the best. However, there is a great variety of traditional chinese desserts here. I love the mango sago! Cool dessert place.

They have around fifty types of desserts to choose. We had the mango pamelo and mocchi that turned out to be really nice and time of serving was fast.
As long as we understand their queue policy everything will go smoothly.

my fav: honeydew sago and watermelon sago.
better to go there around noon time since the queue is quite short. the location is also quite near with the Bugis MRT station and Bugis Cube bus station

I came back here again recently with some colleagues for dessert after lunch nearby. I opted as usual for the mango pomelo sago which was quite good. Surprisingly busy on this visit on a weekday lunchtime.

Loved the dessert at Ah Chew Dessert however I find the queuing system a bit stupid. After queuing up to get a table, we have to queue again to place order and make payment.

Confusing queue system. After waiting in the table line with several open tables and no one greeting us we went to the long line and waited about 30 minutes only to be told we needed to get in the other line first. What a waste of time. Terrible service.
