Me and my wife had a lovely 5 course dinner at Braci last night. It is located in a rather noisy area with a lot of pubs and night clubs. But this hidden pearl (pretty hard to find, and the cabs can’t stop you of...right outside) is located five stores up on a rooftop with a spectacular view over the city and the river. You can only sense the vibes from the streets and it gives you a lovely atmosphere at the top! The food is Italian and genuin with some international touches. Very well served and composted. The sommelier is a wonderful and talented elder man who is very polite. I can highly recommend this place. It’s pricy compared to a lot of places, but compared to other restaurants in the city it is very well spent money!More

We had a great meal last weekend. All of the dishes were well proportioned and interesting, with lots of extra goodies that do not appear on 7 course menu. The young Chef is personable and clearly passionate about his food, although he does not take...himself too seriously. The seafood is flown in fresh from Tokyo and there is a “hint” of Japanese influence in the dishes. The rest of the staff were exceptionally knowledgeable about the dishes being served. Only areas for improvement would be the decor, which is a little bland, and the sommelier, who was friendly but a little over eager to upsell the Vino - which he did.More

Pretty awful. Only at the last minute did they bother to inform me that seating would be outdoors only. Which in the heat of Singapore is not tolerable for an extended dinner. Rude, poor service and overall arrogant. Avoid.

This was a magical experience. I love the concept of the open kitchen where I can smell all the wonderful flavors coming from the charcoal oven and grill. All the dishes look so pretty! The somen with basil consommé was a refreshing start and I...love the sweet tomatoes along with the sliced peas. The "cacio e pepe" with Khorasan spaghettoni was the dish I looked forward to the most as I love Kamut Khorasan wheat — the dish was wholesome and I love the delicate notes of cheese which the chef explained was achieved by making cheese water instead of using cheese directly on the dish. The scallop roe powder was a good touch to give it some texture like the traditional version of the dish. I was also impressed with the smell of the scallop coming off the grill along with how it was sliced to form a rose. Also, the "Village of the Roses" (Rosa del Borgo) dessert is the best dessert I've eaten. The oabika namelaka base was so cold and creamy and smooth — which went well with the nougatine layer above it. The figs on top were sweet but not cloyingly so, and the chef explained it was achieved by seasoning them with tomatoes, olive oil, thyme, and hibiscus. The final touch was the rose vinegar snow which turned the plate into a story and made the dish all the more wonderful to eat. Chef Matteo Ponti explained how he got the idea for this dish when he was looking for vinegar in a village and came across roses all around the place instead. Overall, the attention to detail and creativity of these chefs are inspiring. The reconstructed cherries in the petit fours tricked me into thinking they were just cherries at first until I saw the amount of work it must have taken to deconstruct and reconstruct them in order to play with the textures. The maritozzi were also good as there was a nice savory flavor coming from the filling beyond just the light sweetness of the filling. The service was impeccable. There was a dish that was prepared when my companion went to the bathroom and I appreciate how the manager Pellegrino took care of it when she came back by immediately taking the dish and asking the team to fix it. The team was also accommodating to our needs too. Thank you for this special experience, Braci!More

The chef and his staff spend the evening taking you on a gastronomical journey that is sure to have you talking about it for weeks afterwards. The fine details of every dish will leave you wondering which genius is responsible for the experience you will...no doubt enjoy. The best part is that the genius is right there, explaining the intricacies of the dish, and sharing his passion for amazing food with you. Thank you to Matteo and all the staff for creating such a wonderful experience for my wife and I.More

Our host Dass is very friendly and has very good knowledge about the 8 course of dinner that he was serving and explained it to...us very well. We appreciate really the overall experience. Food was good, but on a Saturday only the 8 course meal is allowed. There should at least be the 6 course option as an alternative. Overall it was over priced for location, service and food. Inside room can also get quite noisy. Open kitchen...which is nice but not closed off (i.e. with glass) so somewhat smelly too. Roof top is good but again not worth the priceMore

Food was excellent. However the acoustics in this place is poor and become noisy when much conversation takes place. I think facing the windows, the glare of the sun makes it difficult to enjoy a conversation with friends or guest facing in. The menu selection...is not clear. Optional items should be separate and not be placed together with the set menu or tasting menu.I got confused and thought it was a separate item but was billed the item. What saved the day was when the manager was quick in service recovery and waived it.More
