Not as good as what it used to be. Seniors Fish had a lot of unnecessary batter, veges and also chips barely warm. Service good.
The Roast of the day would have been good for the service it was cooked for, however it was not cooked on the day i received it! Roast of the day means just that and should never be served from the Microwave! Bad form..... from...a fellow ChefMore
Again this is a tyypical pub servoice pretty typical pub grub. The night we attended, mid week, itr bwas very busy, somewhat noisy, and reservations seems to be mandatory Meals were pub grub but rather expensive for what was servced. Two of us has a...seafood Paella. Largely rice with with three muscles, three medium sized prawns (suggest frozen) and a couple of minute pippies. Tasty? yes, but at $46 a serve it was over the top for a hotel Another couple had the Calamari which thery described as excellent (that was $34 a plate)More
Admittedly I want to start by saying we booked late and came on the Melbourne Cup long weekend. The food was quite ok but unfortunately the price overshadowed an otherwise great experience. My partner had the Aussie pub classic- chicken Parma which was $34. This...is by far the most expensive I’ve encountered after many parmas at many different pubs. Don’t get me wrong, the food was nice but just very expensive for no table service and cutlery in a wire basket on the table.More
The Inlet has impressive food. Not your average pub fare. Most meals not cheap, but delicious. In saying that the special, lamb roast plus chocolate mousse at $25, was great value. Seafood Paella was $45 and mouthwatering with chilli garlic crusty bread. And being there...on a Sunday night we were serenaded by a talented singer/guitarist.More
Second time eating here and should have learnt the first time. Meals average and over-priced. $50 for a t-bone steak with a bit of salad and chips. Partner said it was cooked well 'tho. Chicken schnitzel was tender, but side veg of pumpkin was burnt...and mushroom sauce over salty. Can't say I'd go back a third time.More
A little surprises when we arrived and weren’t too sure what to expect but food was amazing and atmosphere is very warm. We had the seafood platter, calamari and chicken parma and it was all 10/10. Best seafood we have had in a long time
Possibly the best steak I ever had😁😁 The surf and turf was simply amazing. The place was very busy but in a good way. Service fast and friendly
This is an exceptional hotel, great meals and fantastic friendly staff. The staff offered to charge my flat iPhone as well which was terrific. This hotel was very popular on Saturday night, so bookings highly recommended. Although it was busy, the meals came in a...very timely manner. We also had breakfast here on the Sunday, and again service and quality of the food was excellent.More
This is a lovely inviting space with a laid back atmosphere. I am a coeliac and found the meals to be wonderful and stuff very understanding of my dietary requirements.
Smart pub that does a Sunday breakfast that’s hard to beat. Plenty of competition around and it seems to be a bit of hidden gem. Food was excellent, service excellent and all done with smiles from the staff. We were lucky enough to be able...to sit outside with the view and sunshine. Great food and great coffee to go with it!More
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here on the long weekend. It was nice having mains come with a side automatically and the veg on the side was not your typical pub steamed veg it was beautiful.
More flies in the venue than outside. Why? Not acceptable, They're all over the tables, cutlery, glassware and, inevitably, your food and drink. Get rid of the flies.
Have had many a meal and drink at the Inlet hotel and never been disappointed. Amazing food ,and great frindly atmosphere and service. Its a must visit for a beautiful dinning experience at your local pub . Sit inside or outside and soak up the...friendly atmosphere.More
