This place is the place of places in the Pappas Family of restaurants. It basically has the same menu as what you will find at Pappadeux's but with a more of an older feel. The food is of excellent quality and extremely tasty. The fried...alligator is an excellent appetizer choice.More
The tilapia Lafayette is excellent. The fondue is very good and very cheesy. Lunch price is reasonable. Service is fast and courteous.

A Houston treat for me from my sister and brother in law. Picked up at IAH and taken here for a genuine Houston dinner. A huge crowd there but we were seated and eating in fifteen minutes or so. The only negative was the Shiner...Bach draft didn't work. How can I eat in Texas without Shiner? It isn't a place to have a "quiet drink" either, be ready to shout and say "what". The meal was delivered almost too quickly. Good and plenty of it. All in all a great time and will do it again given the opportunity.More
New Years Day dining! We beat the crowd for dinner but you can tell this is a very popular dining place. We were seated soon and drinks delivered to table. Order was taken (I always eat my dessert first!) the creek brûlée was heavenly! Fried...catfish fillet wonderful. The manager stopped by our table and was delightful. But our server Jared deserves a 5+!More
My first time here and will definitely return again. Had to try a the perfect patron margarita, it was delicious. Menu has lots of seafood selections specially for the Pescaterians. A bit costly but well worth it for a monthly occasion. Shrimp foundu was my...favorite appetizer. Avocado and shrimp salad was light perfect dish if you're not that hungry. Seafood platter was good.More
All the food looked so good but my menu had a picture of one of the plates they serve and I was sold! The shrimp was so delicious and our waitress was amazing and tentative even though the restaurant was very busy,I will be back...every time I come to Humble on business.More
I had the Talapia Lafayette and it was superb. My wife ordered the Texas Redfish (blackened) from the gluten free menu and it was superb as well. The brown butter sauce was outstanding and quite delicious. Our server, Alicia, is very knowledgeable about the menu...and was quite helpful in guiding us through selecting our meals. Alicia cheerfully and promptly responded to all of our needs and requests. As first time customers, we were provided free deserts. The creme brulee and the pumpkin spice cheesecake were our choices. Both desserts were off the chart delicious. This was the finest dining experience we have had in many years. My only regret is that I couldn't hold any more food. We will always return to this restaurant when we are in this area.More
Best in the area hands down. It's popular so, dealing with the crowd and rush is a factor but if good seafood is the goal, this is the place. Once seated, the service is friendly and caring.
We make this place a regular when we go to Houston. Found out they had a foot of water in the restaurant provided by Harvey but the got up and running in less than a month as they had concrete walls and a dedicated construction...group. Had the red snapper as the halibut was out of stock. It was goooood. My wife had the shrimp linguine which she rated 10/10.More
I have never had a bad experience here. They can get crowded around the normal eating times. I love the Salmon.
As most of you already know, Pappas restaurants are always delicious. I had the blackened catfish w/shrimp pistolette and grits w/andouille sausage with iced tea. My wife had chicken linguine with a watermelon mango Rita. We were very pleased with the entrees and the wait...services.More
Seafood was fresh and delicious. We ordered baked potatoes however by the time we had finished our meals they still had not brought them out to us. The waitress said the manager would be over(without us requesting one) and offered us a free dessert for...the inconvenence. We each ordered a dessert which were out of this world! Great customer service. A must when in Humble!More
Awesome food! I don't get fried shrimp anywhere else cause it seems they are the only ones that clean the poop chain out. Great service to.
