We stayed her in the run up to Xmas traveling with Voyage Prive which included lots of added extras in the price. We were in a Junior suite with half board.
The rooms are lovely and geared towards couples, in fact I would say the hotel was very much a couples only hotel as there was nothing there for children, but this suited us fine. The room and balcony was large and we had good views over the sea. And the size of the hotel with less than 75 rooms means there is no over-crowding.
On the week we went there there were a lot of LBGT couples on holiday in this hotel and the hotel is situated in a large gay area of Playa del Ingles, so if this would bother you then this is not the hotel for you. In fact the area in which this hotel sits is not the best, and a few people have remarked on the area being like a throw back from the 70's. We went over to Maspalomas during the day, and the restaurants and shopping areas were much nicer.
We tried out a Thai massage as this was part of our package and this was wonderful and well executed.
Food was good, not magnificent, but better quality than the local restaurants round the hotel. If you are on half-board then you are limited to a choice of three meals per course and if you are vegetarian or have certain food preferences then you will struggle on the set menu.
That said, the facilities and staff at the hotel were lovely and we had a good time
