Delicious food and lovely staff at the Escale Regale meant that we really enjoyed our evening. We'll certainly be back and would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Good value for money. Thanks to the staff for their warm reception. See you soon!

At here with my wife the evening of 28 June 2018 and were excited by the reviews. Unfortunately, it was hugely disappointing. There is a very pleasant lady in the kitchen who cooks and a nice young man front of house. Unfortunately, 15 minutes after our arrival the young man disappeared to deal with an accident involving his dog. These things happen so we reassured the cook we were in no hurry. We had ordered a bottle of wine and had more or less finished it when the first course arrived, about 50 minutes after our arrival. My wife had tomato and mozzarella which was large for starter but decidedly average in taste. I had samosas and have eaten better from take aways. We then waited another 40 minutes for our main course, we both ordered prawn curry. The wine was long gone, which was a shame as the curry was very mild. The prawns were fine, though just 4 of them and quite small, but the rice was barely cooked and hard. I do not understand previous reviews. The food here is average at best, and may have been affected by the lack of staff, but I cannot recommend this place and will certainly never go back.

Such a find, so small you could miss it. The menu is short but every dish delicious and original so good I went back 2 nights to try something else. Simply perfect.

What a cute place and the owner/ chief is friendly and speaks very good English. The food is great an unusual fusion of African, Indian and pretty much anywhere else where they like food. The restaurant is clean nicely decorated and very child friendly (unless your children are very fussy and won't try new food) in fact not only did owner have some lovely board games but the she actually taught my children how to play Mancala. We were serenaded by a local man who was 93 he told us an excellent story of drinking champagne with Marie Curie and accidentally burning her with his cigarette. I am not sure it was true but it was cool anyway. And the story was translated by the ever friendly ever patient owner. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is adventurous with their food.

You don't want to miss that. The owner cooks all the meals, and it's all the best meals from all over the world. The cook created her meals from the different trips she made in Asia, Africa and the french islands. There is also good meals for vegetarians.
In the same time, it's cheap, you'll eat for 12 to 20€.
