Our second visit, and it was even more lovely than last time.
We were greeted by Cath, with a glass off fizz and a darling mini fish and chips cone ( I think in honour of their 1 years anniversary since they moved up to the hills)
I had langoustine and avocado cocktail- beautifully and tastefully presented, and tasted marvellous, my partner had a ham egg and chips starter - fun and equally delicious.
My main was salmon fillet with a white wine sauce ( oh it was sooo yummy) while my partner had liver, bacon and mash- which he loved.
For dessert they offer 4 mini desserts or full sized so we went for the minis.
Strawberry pavlova, tiramisu, bailey’s cheesecake, chocolate ganache with honeycomb ice cream. All as wow as they sound but my fav was the Bailey’s cheesecake.
Of course it’s not just the fantastic food- which is totally worth the journey ( they will lay on a lift if requested which is quite a bit cheaper than a taxi) but the beautiful setting, and the marvellous welcome and ambience. It’s cute and cozy and you are treated like old friends.
Book as soon as you book your holiday.
