Wife and I were shifting house. Getting stuff out of storage but the removalist late. No breakfast. Located at the northern end of town. We discussed getting something to eat. And a coffee. Remembered I had been to Clare Rise Bakery not long after they had opened a few years ago with kids. Great view and service too as I recalled, especially the cornish pasties. Outside of southern end of town. Wife decided she would drive the extra on my memory of the food. She came back with cornish pasties and coffees. I am compelled to write this review as wife and I have just returned from a 19 000km caravan journey around half of australia. For those of you reading this we did not find anything as totally awsomely yummy savoury bakery product on our journey. Size, texture, flavour, service - fantastic. Go here for your Clare Valley bakery experience. The other bakery operations in the valley are also very good. But this place.... well, it takes the cake. Well done folks. We will certainly visit when next back in the valley.
We had a guilt food breakfast here a couple of times. Great pasties, vanilla slices etc. The custard croissants were divine!
We enjoyed a quick lunch whilst sitting on the balcony enjoying the scenery. Parking was easy but for people with mobility problems this could be a challenge to get into the Bakery.
Visiting Clare it is difficult to find a quiet place to sit enjoy coffee and something light to eat. The clare rise bakery is the best we can find. Friendly staff and outside heated seating
