Falafel Arafi & Sons was awesome. Packed out the door; more locals than tourists when we were there, the production line “show” of the three men behind the small counter filling all the orders was something to watch (one forming and frying the falafel, one cutting and fixing the pita bread, one distributing the sandwiches and taking the money. Stop and eat. Worth it.

A little walk up stand, with a few chairs, on the edge of the old market. We walked by a couple times and based on their yummy smell, and the fact that there was a constant line we stopped before going back to the car.

This is hands down my favorite falafel in Israel.
I come to Jerusalem for work a couple times a year and have tried too many falafel stands to remember (my favourite is on the corner of Agrippa and the old market). This was my first time in Akko - came to try Hummus Said..so glad I tried this place. The falafels themselves really good, but it's the Pickles and Salad that drives it over the top. The different types of cabbage add a sour / tangy flavor while the tahini and spicy sauce combo are incredible.

Stand in the line, get your order...be happy.

Simple local food, with a good variety. Superb fresh lemonade. Service quick and efficient and not expensive. The shady area outside was very welcome.

Falafel Arafe is where the locals eat and there is a really good reason. It is absolutely delicious. A hole in the wall, very busy but service is quick. An order gets you a pita pocket stuffed with about 6-8 small falafels. You can garnish it with a variety of condiments. Tomato, onion, pickles etc.......Highly recommended. I give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval.
